Not a chance in hell Kuzma isn't in the deal. Lakers likely are giving up all their young guys if this happens.
Breaking News: “Lonzo Ball’s injury is worse than anticipated, and he may be out the rest of the year. Tests are being done regarding vascular degeneration and tendinopathy concerns.” —- BBB ( Probably)
Oh, I totally agree. He's probably gone. I think we have a shot at keeping Hart though. I'm doing the math, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ingram, Ball, and Kuzma. If we give up those three I think we are only 1 or 2 million short of being able to offer the Kyrie's of the world a max this offseason after cap holds. My math may be a little off, but I think Kyrie is eligible for the 32 million extension. We would have 30 million in cap space with Lebron, AD, Deng's corpse, Hart, Wagner, Svi, and Bonga + 6 cap holds.
Sigh wrong again ..... OX guaranteed it and mocked all the weenies who were worried about it still. I believed Ox.
Talking a revolving door of minimum contracts the next many years. I get it, but don’t necessarily like that model.
Its what essentially what the did with the Heat and Cleveland. I’ll be fine with Rondo, Lance, McGee Gfilling those type of spots.
BI/Kuz/Zu/Wagner/picks get it done magic and rob. if he's still with NO by the end of the season he''ll most likely end up in boston
I think the FO (me included) has learned our lesson about not pawning the kids off. They’ve had ample opportunities to become untouchable and didn’t do it. If a trade can be consummated for AD, it’ll happen.
until the nba stops rewarding stockpiling superstars, it's the championship model. part of it is the nature of the game (single players can be super impactful in basketball moreso than other team sports), part of it is referee bias (see james harden's entire existence), and part of it is that the CBA can't prevent players from taking less money to chase rings (see cousins, karl malone, etc.). so, yeah, it's a bit unpalatable. you'd like to develop an ensemble cast of homegrown talent and win titles. of course, that's what GS did, and they became a villain eventually anyway, lol. still, that's the ideal model as a fan. for me, i just want better basketball. had we gone the nets route and were playing over our heads with young guys we discovered and coached up, i'd be just as happy as if we are contending with lebron and AD. i just don't like the current status very much.
i agree. all have been given a fair shot. none of have been busts, but none have shown the ability to carry a franchise. hence, they're tradable for someone who can. that's not a slight. it's just facts. if we offered them for AD and NO says no, i'll gladly keep them. i've just been annoyed that we refuse to offer them given the data available.
I totally agree. Holiday is overpaid, but he is still a really good player. Unfortunately, that means we'd have to give up Rondo. I just have this feeling that we have a gentleman's agreement with him not to trade him.
AD really liked playing with Rondo too, and was disappointed he wasn’t kept. Losing Rondo and Boogie without a fight, and then sucking again. No wonder he wants out.
Where's @KareemtheGreat33 now with his jinx boy accusations? You dumb a** knock it off with your gifs. Time and a place / this is serious / not about you. My neighbor's gardener knows someone close to AD and he's hella emo about his unibrow.
When the revolving door brings you players like Shane Battier and Ray Allen, you kinda go with it. Or, yes, Michael Beasley.
