What they lack is depth. They might even win more games with that roster. I'm hoping they ask for our 2 best (perceived) assets in Kuzma and Ingram as the centerpiece though. I really want to keep Lonzo.
If we can keep Kuzma and get AD, we are fine. if we have to give up Kuzma, Ball and Ingram...I would do it in a second but then we are in a bit of trouble in terms of depth behind the duo. I assume Rich Paul requested the trade to keep Boston out of the discussion for now and give LA a leg up until the trade deadline.
I bet Lakers, are the last team NO wants to deal with. I already see myself with some serious mood swings in the coming days.
I actually expect nothing to happen, and because of that, it will be impossible to be disappointed when it doesn’t. There is no urgency for New Orleans to trade him by the trade deadline. AD has zero leverage, so I’m not sure I see it happening unless that team is concerned about future relationships with other free agents and their representation. They should wait until whatever time frame it takes to get them of the best deal possible.
^ what no.1 pick? I assume it's 1st round pick. Anyways, done deal. If we can keep one of the Ball, Kuz, Ingram, im more than fine with it. It might be wise to stay off the internet for the next few days...
Tinfoil hat on: Kuz and Zo both are in street clothes and Hart didn't play the entire game last night, while Zu's been on an audition of sorts with TC either sitting out or playing limited/inconsistent minutes of late. Tinfoil hat off: trading for injured players like Zo/Kuz/Hart could play in NOP's favor in that they can shut those guys down/ease them back, while they tank and their 1st round pick strengthens in drafting power.
