Vucevic in Orlando seems like a great piece to get the Pelicans a legit center and sweeten the pot.

Sorry, these offers make no sense, I don’t buy that’s what we’d offer for Anthony friggin Davis. Especially not going off the report of what Brad Turner said on the radio last night was our offer. And these tweets

If we wanted to get a deal done now we wouldn’t be offering lowball crap. I feel a huge C Bags agenda coming from everywhere on this. This was a recap of Turner on the radio before the game yesterday

So am I supposed to believe the guy getting his sources in LA, possibly from the Lakers, or the Boston agenda guy in Woj, or the guy simply in the middle in Shams?

That's more like it. Lonzo, Ingram and Kuzma would be overpaying. They get 2 out of 3.

1.) Lebron and Klutch aren’t going to let AD slip by with low ball offers.

2.) If one isn’t true, when Lebron wakes up in the morning to see what the offers were, you best believe everything gets put on the table.

Seriously F Woj...underwhelming? Did that comment need to be made?

Def not. As if we already didn’t know where you stand.

Magic took BI off the table because he knows we have so much leverage right now lol.

Bull. S***. Kawhi was an unknown because of the injury on a 1 year deal. Davis is a known with this season AND next left on his contract. There’s no friggin way our pursuit of him is the same as it was with Kawhi. This narrative benefits the Pelicans an their ownership, and Boston, f*** Woj. Of course we aren’t willing to help them with salary relief though, that would end our 3 star plan.

I don’t believe Woj at all. The deals make little sense as we would have no point guard and he was flat out caught in a lie on the whole “they aren’t answering the phone” thing.

Fam this is perfect! We have negotiations...

We offered any 2 of our youth plus 1 draft consideration.

Pels want more of our youth, multiple draft considerations and cap relief (ie taking on Moore's 2yr deal).

We meet in the middle....Done deal!
    #Negotiations101

Imagine if we offered them the entire farm and they still said no. We would need to scour for a 3rd team and add another element that could lead to a deal falling apart.

Rondo’s inclusion makes no sense for either party. This must be misdirection by someone.

Yeah, something is off here. The timing is weird. Both reports from Shams and Woj are likely factually correct, but misleadingly being spun to paint the Lakers in a poor light.

Yeah, that was probably close to one of our first offers as a point to negotiate from. That doesn't mean we haven't already offered more. Didn't Woj report that the Pelicans weren't even picking up our phone calls, and then a few hours later it comes out that Magic and Dell have already talked on the phone? It's like they're reporting older news just to make the Lakers look bad. In fact, this rumored offer sounds pretty close to what Brad Turner reported as a starting offer at the very beginning of the this whole thing.

My crazy theory is that a trade is about to go down soon and this is being thrown out so that Demps can save face to his fanbase by showing how he negotiated to get them BI and another pick.

    I agree completely!

When offers start to release like this, a deal is almost done or it fell apart and reporters are just picking up scraps (old bits of the discussion).

I will say this, there is motivation from the Pels to make Klutch look bad even if a deal gets done. From the 50k tampering fine to this...

Kcp does have a no trade clause but theyre making it look like LA is being run by Klutch (which is partially true haha), but they're warning teams (particularly small markets) to watch out for Rich Paul's clients. This also drives some discontent on the team with others looking at Kcp/Klutch as the reason they're getting moved while the Klutch guys get to link up in LA.

Also another angle is that this leak could encourage other hopeful teams to put a better offer out there to drive more of a bidding war...but good luck doing that with the #KlutchKillers.

The comments on these Woj tweets are hilarious, just person after person calling him a C Bags homer/employee/etc. Also thought this was was posting if it hasn’t been already

Definitely on the same page. That tweet about not including KCP doesn't even seem like it's supposed to be taken as a factual detail about the trade negotiations. The message is clearly "Hey everyone, look how Rich Paul runs LA".

When in reality ... that's actually to our benefit. Trading more of our young pieces instead of the expiring veterans helps us give a more appealing package to New Orleans while also preserving more cap space for the summer. So this is reported as the first offer and then the final offer revolves around Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, and Zubac. Anyone anti-Klutch can try running the narrative that Rich Paul runs LA and got the Lakers to give up on Ingram rather than abandon his client KCP.
