So the only metric by which a player's "quality" should be valued is points scored? Got it, I guess we should just trde AD for Kuzma, Paul George or Kyrie.

No I don't really think I did @KareemtheGreat33. In your original message you said AD will be mediocre in most games (and absolutely garbage in some, yeah...). You were not referring to his point output but his play as such.

I get why people value offense more than defense, but to say AD is anywhere near mediocre "in most of the games" and absolute garbage in some, you have to really disregard the defensive side of the court completely. Even then, 17 points with good efficiency is hardly mediocre. Where does "good" start? At 20, 23?

I am also frustrated with AD on many of the nights where he's not aggressive enough, but some Lakers fans are just hating on him every chance they get, even though some of the issue is the "game plan" and our coaching staff's refusal to draw plays for AD.
