Could have been AD not giving a crap about the last game, or his hip bothering him, but what I saw with my own eyes is him getting abused by Sabonis down low.
If he would have played like how he did against JJJ, this wouldn’t be a topic of conversation.
What is, is the fact that on some nights, AD plays like he’s just going through the motions.
Also, this has been a pattern of play that has been going on since he’s been a Laker.
It’s just who the guy is. This is why he can never be the 1A on a Championship Team.
He’s still the best Defensive Player in the game and I’m glad we have him.

Nice bounce back game from AD. His defense was elite today.

Return to form defensively. Swat machine and had Portland second guessing going in his direction. Good energy defensively.

Offensively I thought it was not a good game for him. If you're just looking at the box, it looks fine and that's largely due to a few buckets late in the game that dropped in. But for the first 3Qs+, his shot was not falling and i was hoping for more gimmie buckets to get going a little.

    Not too shabby

His D was otherworldly, his offense not so much at all. I'd really like to see him more involved, more aggressive on offense early on. Seems like from the jump he was content to just set screens for others most of the night. He's too good for that.

Great bounce back game and seeing that we got BLOWN OUT when he didn't play...I'm happy to see him otu there to neutralize Sengun at least.

He fouled out but it is what it is...he's our 2nd best player and he's a damn good one.

The charge call was nonsense. Is it just me or have we gotten screwed on those calls this year? Regardless we won.

n neither is sabonis being quicker than AD, the difference between gm 2 vs Sac and gm 1 was purely effort and maybe AD being affected by the hip

You got your wish tonight. He was aggressive from the outset and played with passion.

It was so satisfying to see AD aggressive and his shots go down. Great game and the last charge was BS. Too bad we used the challenge on a play where he did charge.

Aggressive and it doesn't get much more efficient than 11-15 shooting.

He took it easy on them with his blocks though -- only 1. Oddly enough it was the only block the team had last night.

Can he go to to the Jazz bench and give the "too small" gesture to the entire team? Just completely overwhelmed them with his length and size in the post.

Wonder if he can play tomorrow. Last back to back he got rest against Memphis, he was on E on night two.

dallas has struggled with size, and they talked about having to fix that, so i wouldn't be surprised if they just sit on all AD post or pick and roll action from the jump, and dare literally anyone to make an open three.
