Exactly who I compared AD to watching him patrol the paint last game.

Davis when he blocks a shot keeps it in play rather than sending the ball into the concession stands...

I think that was his point - it's the narrative of all his injuries and that he's Mr Glass, and this rep exceeded the reality of this season - where he was gone for the middle of the season, so media just dismissed him - but by the end of the season, he had played more min and almost as many games as JJJ.

There’s not a team in the playoffs that would choose JJ over AD for their playoff run if they could pick one. Including Memphis.

I noticed that too. Ludabrow is one of the few players in the league who is capable of completely dominating a game defensively. There was a game in the 2020 finals where he took on Jimmy Butler and shut him down, I don't remember which game that was, but that was pretty insane watching that.

KD is the most overrated player in the league. Always ranked 1st or 2nd and yet he lost 7 straight playoff games including 5 straight in the first round. He's just as injury prone as AD if not more.

Yeah? Whataboutit?!! But, yes, KD has proven to be more injury prone than AD, IMO. And he's old. And AD is one of the best two way players I've ever seen. But KD is an amazing scorer, I'll give him that.

kd's an amazing two-way player in his own right, and i'd gladly take him on my team. but you don't get to b**** about AD and pine for KD. that's some seriously dumb stuff.

for joining the Warriors yes, but for his play? I don't ever recall hearing that at all. He's come back from multiple injuries that would have kept AD out for a minimum of 5 years.

Dude people have been criticizing him for years for being soft - that if you get in his face that he can't handle it. Jefferson/Barkley have all called him soft

Yeah, and he's super sensitive, on the court, off the court, online, offline, barbershop, TV, anywhere really.

For his play, he's not always aggressive, but instead plays passively some to a lot of the time, doesn't ask for the ball, stands around. Some people call that soft. But if that's what you're talking about - AD doesn't play soft either. He just falls to the ground a lot when slightly injured.

How bout he falls when off balance from flying around the way he does playing the way he does when he's playing like one of the few best big men in the game? Not for some little injury like a pinkie. So sick of all the AD crap. And the next s*** happens basketball injury, like every other player can have happen at any time .... that he gets .... it will all start up again here.

I have one question for anyone who thinks the MVP sham has any value. Which player in the NBA was better than Kobe from 2001 through 2010?

    FACTS.
Without joining one of the best regular season squads of all time, which had two of the best shooters of all time in their primes, he would have ZERO Rings.

He was swatting everything that came close to the rim in game 1 lol

That was a great defensive performance. But he too, couldn't defend Jaren Jackson. We need to find a better solution to stop him.

Can't have a guy like him get 30+ on 70% shooting.

first, jjj made some very difficult shots that he doesn't normally make. second, the grizz did a lot to get AD off of him so he could score. i can remember at least one occasion where they iso'd jjj and AD just ate his shot and took it the other way. there would be more of that if they tried a steady diet.

JJJ isn't going to score 50. If guarding him 1v1 means everyone else is locked up with no open looks from 3 that's trade off the Lakers will take everytime.

For example, he scored on Lebron but those were tough shots and Lakers smartly didn't foul him to create and 1s. The more work he has to do on offense the less energy available for him on defense as well
