They only score 20 points in the 4th. Defense and the adjustments were a problem but they also were not good on offense.

JV got hurt and AD had a mismatch which they didn't even try to exploit (I bet he was fatigued and that's not on him as he was asked to play an entire 4th quarter again but they needed to slow the game down and they had the tools to do it)

126 is enough to win, and it's on the team/coach to get him the ball. lebron can post up every matchup every night, too.

Not that game. Should have been enough but wasn't. You've still got to outscore the opponent. We were on pace to score 144 per the first half. I'm not excusing the crap defense from the team and even crappier "strategy" of Ham in this case. But if you're going to give up 70 in the second half you better score too.

    Pathetic.

One of the laziest games I've seen him play as a Laker. Completely checked out of tonight. No interest in this basketball game. Ham should've pulled him for Bryant. If you're not going to defend at all, at least Bryant gives effort offensively.

I get the Bron showcase can be disruptive to an offensive flow. But there's no excuse for the lack of defense. He put his hands on his pockets and watched loose balls go by him and Musky rain 3s.

Has he posted up once since the Indiana game winner??

Never seen anything like this: Anthony freakin Davis can't post up Mike Muscala?

I just don't think AD can bring it as violently as he was at the beginning of the year. He has to float or else he will just break down.

Players just swarm him and pack the paint when he has the ball and he's the only plus defender we have. His defensive effort has taken a big hit the last few games. I just think he's fed up with the D and lack of shooting.

He was incredibly soft tonight however.

He looks like Pau from 2010/2011. He's lost his heart for the game man.

We have to consider trading him at the deadline. If there's team willing to give 3 1st rounders and a couple of young players with team friendly contracts you have to move him. His title contending play with the Lakers are done IMO

I think it is mental as well. Playing to not get injured. Look at how he was playing during that tear he was on earlier. It was with force and violence. He knows he'll get injured if he keeps that up..

Kind of an inexcusable performance really. After what he said after the last loss, sense of urgency, time is now, all talk. If he doesn’t want to compete maybe he could use a change of scenery to freshen up his mind, I’m sure multiple team would give us a “haul” for him.

Honest question: are we sure AD's body will outlast Bron's?

we're going to seriously regret not trading him while he has some value.

We are, I’ve been saying this since preseason. We can either rebuild when he’s gone and we have very little draft picks, or we can rebuild before it’s too late and move on soon. We don’t have to start from scratch either, a rebuild can mean a re-tool, use the picks you get from trading him to trade for the next star. I know how good he is when he’s focused, but I’m so tired of performances like this, he’s clearly satisfied with his ring and his resume as is.
