huh. only been a month? you'd think it's been six years based on the whimpering.

i know this topic is touchy, but i'm still worried about bringing him back. i'm not a doctor, but it sure seems like this injury is one that is just going to recur until they remove that spur. in the meantime, you're risking further damage there, plus peripheral damage in compensatory movements, right?

all cuz lebron's window or whatever.

again, maybe i'm not understanding the injury, but it seems like something with a chronic cause that just now flared up.

His injuries are becoming an issue for me.

This team is going to keep losing games until he's back.

    Just a crappy situation

yeah, i guess i'd like to hear why surgery wasn't considered. just because he wants to shake the "mr glass" tag? how is coming back and getting hurt and then missing the first half of next season recovering from the broken foot/surgery going to help that?

it's similar to the reasons i'm super reluctant to trade future 1sts. yeah, things suck now. but they could definitely suck even worse.

I don’t think the bone spur is the injury. I think it’s the stress fracture. The bone is just a spur they believe he has had forever.

It's my understanding that the injury is the bone spur breaking off. I have never seen anything about a bone in his foot. The guy has been running pain free for over two weeks now, let's go man. I don't understand how he's at some kind of risk if he's already pain free. It sounds like he just didn't want to have a surgery to me.

Fingers crossed, but if what McMenamin is saying holds true, that would mean he’d be back in 2-3 games. Either against LAC next Tuesday or SAS on Wednesday

Well, that's a given, it's just a matter of time. Hopefully it's not going to happen again soon.
