    I disagree!

    If things fall into place, they could get KD + 30%max player + Zion while having DSJ, Knox, Mitchell

    They would officially be back.

    Meanwhile Dallas is going to be gunning for a playoff spot this year.

    Also, this trade occured ridiculously fast and this is coming off the heels of Dallas playing at MSG.... tampering?

    That's what I'm thinking. I couldn't believe those would be the terms of this trade. It seems insanely terrible trade for Dallas. Ziner is a 7 footer that is recovering from a major knee injury. Do you really think he's going to be the same player?

    I can see Dallas taking a risk, but that trade sounds insane!!

    If it does't happen - LOL. But they put themselves in a position to sign superstars in the summer. People will want to play in NY regardles of the owner and all that.

    They can brush off this season, if they lose enough they could even retain their pick thats owed to Atl. I dont think Dall would've done this trade if they saw red flags in Zingis medical....people said a whole bunch of negative things about Cousins achilies injury and he's already looking like 70-80% of himself already.

    like i said, this is boom or bust for the knicks

    if they can land two max FA's this offseason they'll be geniuses. they can also get zion on top of all that

    and on the other hand, they can lose the draft lottery and strike out on big name FAs. then we can all laugh at this trade

    I see it as win win

    They are dumping expiring K's in Matthews and DAJ, and getting a huge talent who's supposed to make a full recovery. Tim Hardaway Jr. is a complimentary piece, but Luka and KP could be formidable.

    NY gets to tank, could try to keep DAJ, but has young stud (In the right system) in Dennis Smith Jr, 2 max salary slots, and a chance at a legendary lottery pick.

    Could turn out well for both sides.
