Again, this is AD's apparent decision as he said he spoke to like 5 doctors. Why do we keep dumping on our staff? And the ongoing myth of Phoenix's staff .... are those guys even there any more, and do they prevent s*** happens injuries and players' (not named Kobe) thresholds for pain and the burning desire to play no matter what?

i think the hate for our medical staff goes back to the bynum days and how "4-6 weeks" would end up turning into the rest of the season

actually, maybe all the way back to malone's knee injury that was handled horribly by the team

That's kind of what I mean. All those guys are probably twice removed as are Phoenix's staff (just guessing).

In my case, I am not dumping on our medical staff, because I don't know who is responsible for not making any info available. I assume most dedicated fans would like to know what's going on and what the plan is. It can't be that complicated.

Such disdain … can’t wait til he’s gone and the good old tank days are back? Bron will be gone by then too. No one else with that kind of talent choosing to be here over the extra bag their own team can pay ‘em.

I say disdain because clearly that was not what the conversation was about but you enjoyed reminding us all. Thanks for that.

I agree with others that if it really was a simple, small incision procedure to remove that cracked or whatever bone spur and that if it was only going to take a couple weeks recovery to be back, then why would AD choose to do this "no guarantees it doesn't flare up and cause problems again" approach?

Move over Dennis! I'm not a doctor, but like anyone else here that plays GM or coach or player from the comfort/safety of their armchair .... my diagnosis is he's a:

With the severity of the ankle sprains as of late that bone spur probably came from these sprains

So at least two more weeks. We have a pretty tough schedule coming up I believe. Not going to do us much good trying to get the necessary wins during this time unless we make a trade. Especially with AR and Walker still up in the air.

it doesn't matter. no trade we make is going to get us more wins in the interim. trades shouldn't be made based on AD's current or expected availability this season, imo.

I disagree. If we can make a trade for a starting level player for Bev and Nunn we should do it. That would actually help us get wins in the interim.
