portland gives us their '25 and '27 firsts. we use our expirings to get some playable frontcourt players and more picks.

hell, since we'd have portland's picks in those years, just make the indy deal after this:

    turner/bryant
    grant/little/winslow
    lebron/brown
    hield/hart/reaves
    walker/schroder

we still have bevs and nunn to move in case something else looks good.

it's not a good team, but it can play ham's preferred style and not be sad to watch. gives portland a real title shot.

Sorry but we've been hearing this from him since he got here. He's not that kind of leader.

Also probably means he's going to get hurt too

He doesn't want to play the 5.

Admittedly, I thought Jones would be better than he has been. Bryant injured. Wenyen can't do it full time.

    Is what it is.

Stop with the trade talk. People that want to send him away for some chumps, will cry the hardest when we suck even more without him. Get him some help... and a freakin starting caliber center.

i'm only half serious. but i've been preaching that if we want AD to be the centerpiece, we need to build the team differently. we haven't, so you have to consider other options.

we signed 3 centers, and either they are injured or unable to fill those minutes

clearly not how anyone thought that would play out

yeah, that's fair. but we abandoned the notion of starting them even before they got hurt and/or sucked, imo. i saw that coming when i saw how committed ham was to the 4-out. but again, if that was the case, we should have focused a lot more on perimeter size and shooting.

it's frustrating. i don't think AD has been that bad. he hasn't been as good as he was first year he was here or as he was in NO. but we haven't committed to featuring him, and this idea that "he can call his own number" and whatever is just not the point for me. look at how he scored in NO--lobs, cuts from weak to strong catching on the move at the elbow, facing up from the midpost with a clear paint. we only do the lobs.

Welcome to playing with Lebron. Nobody is calling your number as long as he is on the floor. Unless Lebron is willing to take a huge backseat, this team will not prosper.

i don't even know that it's lebron. it's just that the space he needs to maximally effective on offense doesn't exist due to our roster. i feel like if we traded him to portland, people would see what he can do with a couple bona fide scoring threats from the guard spot, even if he shares the floor with a center.

Davis has played in all but one game. He's been there. Problem is, the team is neutered. All of them. Especially Rob. And Jeanie is spayed. Thank you Bob Barker.

I mean, it's just another loss at this point. Not a big deal.

weird point (as AD's lone supporter on the site), but: i'm not sure AD being out affects our chances at winning. sac is -5 on the road against us before this revelation, which...holy s***...

our hope is that they don't take us seriously at this point. if sac feels like winning and locking in, they're going to beat us if AD plays or not.

For the record you are not AD’s lone supporter here. I am as well.

Trade this lazy bum. Don't care what his numbers say. Don't care what his skills are. He is a second banana and he can't lead a team.

    I've had enough.

Right. Because he said, in the deciding moments, "Give me the ball" and willed the team to win.

If he is the leader, it's always on him. Kobe knew that. Magic knew that. AD has no idea.

He is a second banana, LJ.

I think that's pretty apparent. That isn't a bad thing....just who he is.
