I actually would be more in favor of going the full rebuild. I'd much rather trust our scouts than Rob.

I don't think trading AD for, like, Beal + Kuzma (as an example of the type of return we'd probably see, at best) gets us futher in the postseason.

LeBron, Kuzma, Beal is a better team than LeBron + AD + minimum, especially with AD missing 50 games or some such... but it's not a title team. As I said, I think our title window with LeBron is closed and we need to move on.

EDIT: I know Beal is also somewhat injury prone. I am just using him as an example of the type of talent level we'd likely see in return for AD.

Ok, I gotcha. I'm just numb from rebuilding from the last time.

    LOL.

    No clue, man.

I'd pay Green our entire cap space next year just to set some freaking man sized screens.

Or when DJ use to screen for Paul on the Clippers. Those little things make a difference.

I don't think AD is capable of being THE guy post Bron, like we once hoped he would be. I'm not against moving him, but I don't think there is a deal out there that's worthwhile. I don't think any of the top 10 guys are either available for him or if they are (Harden?), then it wouldn't make sense for us.

The only team that potentially interests me is GS. They're one of the few that have a mixture of vets, good young talent, and most of their own picks. I just don't know what they'd be willing to come off of because I know they want to stretch their window.

I've been a fan of Ludabrow since he came into the league, but his durability has me worried.

I think he can be that guy IF he stays healthy and that is one big if at this point. When he's at his best, and we saw that 2 years ago, he's the best guy on the court hands down. We saw that in Orlando.

I want to see that again. I think he has it in him. But if he misses half the season again, I don't know. Also I don't think he trusts his body either.

I think he can be that guy but this season will tell us a lot.

I am beyond worried about AD, he has proven to be injury prone at this point. He's a problem, he knew he was a problem when he took that extension instead of waiting to resign for more. Hell, he admitted that his injury history was why he did that. When HE is worried you better damn well be worried too.

AD is carrying us today especially on defense.

Yeah. Full rebuild scares me more than anything. Much rather we keep things afloat and retool around AD when LeBron retires.

AD was SENSATIONAL today. Shame to spoil such a brilliant performance and not get him the ball down the stretch. He owned Nurk all day long.

He was fantastic, absolutely everywhere on defense, dunking everything. 6 blocks, just that attacking attitude I want to see from him.

That’s what it’s all about right Weezy? This is why we call him out when he’s playing soft and not aggressive like the second half of the first game. He gives us this monstrous effort and we see he can still be a top 10 player. He doesn’t have to always have great games. No one does. But you can always bring effort and we can see when he does that we stand a chance.

If we could get a semblance of this version of AD regularly the talk would end. It is up to him.

    He always has it.

Question is: can he stay healthy?

He was fantastic. DPOY activity and energy out there. I don't think it's sustainable without any other bigs there to help him defensively AT ALL. That is worrisome. But when he's dialed in like that, it's fun to see. Hoping it carries over against the Joker and Gobert (I know he usually has big games against him).

    I will nitpick this though...

I want Ham showing him this on loop

He has to take offense to the level of disrespect shown when he takes a 3.

    He was amazing on defense.
Had a great run in the 3rd on offense but we need him to do it more, he has to be close to 30ppg
His shooting is awful. Not only he had that one on the side of the backboard, he threw another couple of bricks completely way off

Super frustrating start to the season that has exposed how dire a lot of our team’s weaknesses are … but AD showed us the AD we came to love in 2020. As bad as we’ve looked, this AD is capable of erasing a lot of the weaknesses of the team.

The guy is a good number 3 or 4, definitely not a number 2 anymore, that you can rely on.

With his deminished athleticism, he can barely grab a f'n rebound anymore.

I definitely disagree with that on AD. He was excellent yesterday especially on defense.

Looked like a number one or two option to me.
