Anthony Davis Discussion: Only Player On Both All NBA + All Def

lol, i'll take the ring. we were the knicks. and we may again become the knicks. but we got a break. can't stress it enough, we were going nowhere.

and only last year was awful. the year before we were good when healthy, and i felt like we had a shot at repeating until AD went down in the playoffs. much better experience. i can live with that all day.

 

He'll be fine if he's healthy.

If he's healthy, he's a top 7-10 player.

If he plays 60-65 games, he's engaged, and we're utilizing him correctly, we'll make the playoffs.

He just needs to stay on the court and compete.

As for the not touching s basketball in two months, I find it odd, but I'm not going to get totally bent out of shape over it.

Just give me a healthy and engaged AD with improved shooting, and we'll be fine

 

i agree. i'm the one who posted the non-shooting info--and it was distressing. but let's see how he looks to start the year before planning on becoming sacramento south.

and the only unlikeable team out of the bunch was this past season because of westbrick. 20-21 team could have very well made a deep playoff run if it wasn't for the injuries to lebron and AD. give me the '20 title any day over 10th place finishes with lonzo and BI leading the way

I think AD is going to have a monster season myself. MVP caliber...I'd rather it be Finals MVP tho.

AD is being ripped and rightfully so IMO. Just a bad comment given how horrible last season was. A simple “I’m working hard to get my mind and body right to come back with a vengeance next year” or something like that would’ve been fine. I haven’t shot in a couple of months sounds bad for a guy already labeled as soft and Street Clothes, even if it may not mean much in the long run. Read the room man. Always read the room.

Problem is once fans know you are capable of this, they kind of want to see it more often. Not lazy fall away midrange flat jumpers that show no passion or determination.
