i'd like to hear AD and the coaching staff speak to his FGAs the past two games.

3rd different productive big Lebron has ruined so that he can get his numbers. Bosh, Love now AD. Lebron needs to sacrifice and set up his talented big man

again, bigs need people to get them the ball. lower FGAs for a star big is usually a team-wide and/or scheme failure. why aren't we screening for him off the ball to get him catches against smaller players closer to the basket? or are we, and he's not executing?

I think it’s a mix of both. We’re not scheming to get him open looks at the basket, but often AD seems to settle/want to get the ball in the high post/mid-range area.

AD should be able to easily and consistently get at least 25 points a night on mostly open dunks and putbacks.

The fact that games like last night have started to become the norm is a failure from top to bottom.

eh, it's two games. the three before, he was great. that's why i'm interested in hearing him talk about what's happened in the last two games versus the others.

again, the guy has been the league leader in paint points when healthy this year, so it's kind of a false narrative that all he does is hang out on the perimeter. but why only 13 shots? why no shots in the 4th against portland?

Trade AD this summer. Get value for him now. He isn't molded to be a LA Laker.

Start focusing on building a winner and figure it out from there....

it's generally bad to be the seller in a star trade. he wouldn't be off limits in trade for me, but it better be quite a haul in return.

also, you need to be prepared to deal lebron, then, too.

i just don't see it happening. i don't have any interest in going back to where we were four years ago, with zero stars under contract and a pocket full of cash and hope.

my mentality now is we gotta set the table to be successful with AD as the foundation piece/bait for 2023. it would be cool if beal opted in this year. then we could clear the books and chase him in 2023. we'd have vet min cap holds on reaves and stan, too.

We are back to where we were 4 years ago. A talentless, s***ty coached, terrible executive team.

Just because your name is AD or LeBron doesn't mean squat when you lose to loser teams.

He has awful/borderline bottom of the league FT and 3pt percentage because the rest of the team doesn't get him the ball right

I kind of agree with SAS on ESPN, that the Lakers should look to trade AD after Lebron retires/leaves. AD is not consistently available, nor does he perform consistently enough to be a #1 option even when he is available. And he's in his prime right now, so i'd imagine this gets worse over the next few years as he ends up on the wrong side of 30. We should trade him for picks and young assets and start the full rebuild process sooner rather than later while his value is still high.

ok. trade him. and lose harder for longer.

AD simply isn't the problem here. every single nba team would love to have him under contract and would love to rob us in a trade right now.

maybe we'll get the 8th pick in two years, though, so, super duper.

seriously, you can have the second-best player on any nba team right now + goodies. go for it. you lose the trade.

    LOL. I would trade him.

***If I get any hint he is going to leave***

Our relationship with Klutch (by all reports) is tenuous.

Rob may need to entertain a trade if things don't improve, but we shall see.

Weak sauce lately. Seems like he’s given up on the season after he got run over by Giannis and Nurk.

I don't think we should trade him for young assets and picks. If we trade him, it needs to be for another superstar that can get us in win-now mode, specially a gruntled superstar like Dame or hopefully soon Luka.

I agree and have said it months ago that he doesn't have the DNA of a winner and we won't be near a title with him as the leader. On top of that, his inability to stay healthy is really hurting our chances. Unfortunately, we have bigger issues to handle right now and I don't see a window for that trade to be explored until the end of next season. In that time we may reassess

no problem trading him for luka, giannis, or jokic. i'm in. not sure any other trade makes sense for us.

    this place is silly.
