He lost quickness because of the unnecessary weight gain…

Who are you talking to?? You can block people around here really easily just by ignoring them by clicking on their image icon and hitting the ignore button. When people become one trick ponies or are trying to prove how big their "ego" is, I just chose to block them.

But, when you are new to any website, you owe it to the website to start slowly and try to fit in. There are sites where I just don't feel like I can co-exist with the tenor of the board and their mods. I don't feel that way here, most of the mods are reasonable and most of the posters are too. There are some with some fairly strong opinions but you can usually reason with them. When you can't, click the ignore button. The ignore button is your friend. When you realize that the ignore button has put half the people into it and those people include half the mods. Time to start looking!

AD out 4 weeks: that's pretty much it for our playoff hopes.

And who here didn't expect AD to get hurt again? Not me.

    Damn.
    (and please everyone: get boosted)

Yeah ignore is great, I won't lose any sleep over it Al Bundy. If you pick a fight, you should expect to receive hands in return. :Byronfistfight:

That doesn't seem fair. Lebron's push off is done all the time by both him and perimeter players across the league. Just awful luck for a team that's experienced plenty

Lebron has now ruined Bosh, a Love and AD. Congratulations.

This AD at the 5 nonsense started because Lebron needs floor spacers to drive. He has no reliable, post up game, footwork, mid range game, pull ups, catch and shoot, so everyone else in the universe need to get moved off their productive comfort zones.

Since the minute he joined us in summer 2019 AD has repeatedly showed ad said he’s allergic to playing the center position. Some of our best lineups do have AD at the 5 but that’s a closing lineup not full time.

AD played 40% of his minutes at the C position in 2019-20. According to BBindex, Kawhi and KD had the best spacing in basketball last year. Was that roster construction the result of their lack of offensive gifts?

    lol wtf

Last year AD played by far the least amount of center minutes in his career, 10% relative to a career average of 51%, yet he played 36 regular season games then got re-injured when needed most in the playoffs.

Wow...you have a little bit of a Lebron issue it would seem. I guess the question is...did Bosh, Love or AD ever win anything without playing with Lebron? He has definitely won titles without any of them. As far as AD...maybe he had a point about not wanting to play the 5 all the time. He is the only one that truly knows his body. I think Anthony will bounce back though, it's not like he tore an ACL, and moving forward, he will probably spend less time at 5.

and now he's gone while asked to take on a bigger role at C.

He never wanted to play heavy minutes all along playing center.

S*** happens! This is the epitome of s*** happening! Same as a player diving for a loose ball and hitting LeBron’s leg last season causing the high ankle sprain. Were you expecting that to happen to him as well? Or the multiple times it happened to Bynum, ultimately cutting his career short. Or the nothingburger of a drag down from behind on the sideline tackle of Bo Jackson that ended his football career?

this season is just further confirmation that 2020 Bubble ring is not a legit one for Lebron. How do you feel about that?

Then why did he recruit Russ, knowing what it meant for our depth and his ability to roam on defense? We already built a roster around him "not wanting to play center", and yet two separate injuries later we were a 1st round exit.

    Lebron's influence.

Lebron's fingerprints are all over our Laker franchise. They have lost the plot completely. They're hell bent on pleasing Lebron and foolishly believing pleasing him gives them the best chance to take advantage of this championship window. They are deceived.

I’d say nobody cares if you want to put an asterisk on it, the 2020 title counts and always will. As someone who has never been a huge Lebron fan, you really just sound like an irrational Lebron hater.

I don't really care about Lebron's legacy, I'm more than willing to claim that championship for my team though. Every single team that played in the bubble wanted to win that chip, we are the ones that got it done. That's legit IMO. As for Lebron...great player, he has his detractors, that's fine with me. It's about the Lakers, not Lebron for me. I hope he wrangles us another chip before he retires. Legit or with an asterisk in some folk's opinion. Wouldn't matter to me.
