I don't get the 2012 stuff...the bulk of that squad was already in place, we added Nash and Howard. It's not the same situation at all. For all the drama that season, Kobe blowing out his Achilles was the main reason we didn't go anywhere. Kobe not wanting to give up the rock, and wanting to do whatever he wanted, also caused a lot of the issues during the season. I don't see the similarities.

How much is “some” do you think he has put on? And if it’s good muscle so maybe his shoulders aren’t getting injured this year as in the past there’s some good benefit if he’s by design logging far more minutes at the 5 to help protect him there. Am sure he didn’t skip leg days as well. 5lbs? 10lbs? Can’t be much more than that, and for a guy his height and frame … shouldn’t he be able to carry it and put to good use?

 

As a joke I assumed. He doesn’t look “fat” to me.
