It's the refs. It's all their fault.

Giannis is a physically souped up and bigger current Dwight Howard (who’s still a marvel at his age). Why would he have any fear of going at AD, and why do people think AD with his build should be going mano y mano with that with his breakable history? He is what he is physically, not a “beast” but a highly skilled Big man. Can’t say supremely skilled either. Too many things he’s missing in the post, if he even wanted to play there, and can’t shoot the 3 for good %, while his J comes and goes. Still one hell of a player. Not a Beast against other strong big and quick players. Usually. There’s that too. Sometimes he can go “beast like”.

Yeah, let’s trade AD, he sucks. Let’s let Russ lead us to the next Chip like he’s done so many times before with all of those other teams.
    Oh, wait...

i realize it's mocking, but uh...that non-reversal paved the way for every bucket and trip to the line giannis made after it (both of which were in abundance).

you're right he had no fear. he had protection.

Oh you just feel cause you can kick back on the floor there with your sparkly long legs after the career you had .... you can criticize all Lakers Big men who came after you.

Giannis has a much better handle too. If AD had those kind of ball handling skills, he would be unstoppable.

Seems like he should by now .... right? There's a lot of skills he has as an "elite" Big man (on offense) that themselves no way can be called elite themselves. Again .... post moves, shooting from 3 since doesn't want to be in post anyways, consistency of his J game to game wherever else he takes (them) from, handles (now that you mention it) and consistency of effort game to game.

    I'm going to say it.

We should trade him in the next couple of years. For Luka.
He's just not healthy. He had 0-0-0 in the Q2 where Bucks got away in the score. He plays with both his legs taped as well as his shoulders and half the arms. He limps a couple of times every game. If he gets hit in a play, you are instantly afraid. If he hits the floor, you want to cry. It's just painful to watch, no way he can be a top5 in the league (which he needs to be in contention for the chip), playing like that. Most games he has stints of dominance, followed by heavy minutes where he is half of himself, or is playing injured.

I think the late growth spurt affected his coordination in some areas. He's long but not as fluid as Giannis. He has long strides and long arms and a different gait. Giannis is really more similar to Lebron, he's just taller. AD has been knocking down that jumper pretty consistent though lately. He's 29-46 from the field and 2-4 from three in these last three games. We aren't specifically running a lot of sets to free him up, from what I can see either. He's just getting it in the flow of the offense. The Bucks run a pick and roll or screen for Giannis almost every time down the floor.

There ya go for the person suggesting Frank be more like Phil and ruffle some feathers in the league office about the officiating when needed. Wonder whose name is on the official complaint?

AD seems to turn it on randomly - between games, and during games. It's bizarre. But he seriously delivered today.
