So Pels are looking to flip Jules (shame on you NOP for mistreating dude), Niko and Twaun for 1st rounders so that they can quickly flip that to get a star to pair with AD...

AD, bruh, they did a piss poor job of keeping 'Do and Boogie...now they straight insulting your intelligence.

Now where have we seen this before? Ky for BK pick...and how'd that turn out?

Haahaha, panic mode in NO. You were sitting around with your thumb up your a** and now you woke up? I suggest you lock up AD at his house and sit with him for a week... Tennants style baby.

No one cried with the Miami stuff? Yeah tell that to Mr. Comic Sans and all the fans with tears in their eyes from all those burned jerseys.

Just like the Miami example, the Gasol example was made to demonstrate the creation of superteams via CBA tampering....clearly not relatable to the creation of a Bron-AD-____ team???

Dude, you argue just to argue. I got a new conspiracy theory: you're trying to make me a #SmashBro...now I gotta go to the ER to see if I've been concussed and I need to go find my old Pinky & Brain posters to hide all these holes in my wall.

Am I the only one that wouldn't cry a river if we didn't trade the entire farm for AD? You think our players are injury proned? AD is also very injury proned. I wouldn't be upset if we just outright signed Klay, Kawhi, KD, kemba, Middleton, boogie, etc in the off season

This is how important having a superstar is. NO is willing to alienate all their other top talent with trying to trade them to appease AD. I hope they do it and it bites them in the end when AD walks.

I wouldn't cry a river, but we likely won't make the playoffs this season without him.

its pretty well known that we overrate the kids

kuzma is the only one who has shown he can be a star. lonzo and BI haven't shown anything and zubac is still a big question mark. if i was a pelicans fan i would think the lakers offer sucks too but like others have mentioned, its not like other teams can offer much better. especially when you compare what you're getting in return to a superstar like AD

I wouldn't cry a river but will very disappointed. Guys like AD don't come around very often.

Lonzo has shown a lot more than BI. His stats might not jump out at you on paper, but the kid affects the team in so many ways. He makes the team play at a higher pace, we've already seen that. He has incredible vision when players can actually get in the right spots. He probably is one of the best one on one defenders at the guard position.

For a lack of shooting, health, and consistency with his aggressiveness, I think people including Lakers fans underrate Lonzo so much, especially for a 21 year old. Not every player is going to be a Kobe, or have an amazing first 2 years to start the season. The Lakers were never really ones to sit around and wait for talent to develop, which is why we're not used to it. Look at D'Angelo Russell, he's having himself a fine breakout season now that he's had some time to mature, not groundbreaking, but still a REALLY solid player, especially when you compare who was drafted around him. Embiid, Porzingis, and Booker are really the only players worth mentioning in that draft. At the time we traded him, every said we were overrated Russell too.

In todays league its all about that "advance metrics"....Siakam produces similar box score #'s to BI but he is given MIP potential, potential all-star, and absurdly more valuable than Ingram mostly due to his advance metrics being so much better than BI...even though Siakam is 4yrs older than BI, this league is nuts lol. Tatum and Kuzma also have similar raw stats, but I think Tatum advance metrics looks a whole lot better than Kuz as well. Odd thing is Ball has really good advance metrics #'s but poor raw stats but then is also looked as garbage for that reason lol

So the Pelicans literally just shot themselves in the foot with this by having this "investigated".

There is absolutely zero chance he's staying now and we'll probably sabotage any team he'll be traded to. AD didn't sign with Klutch for nothing.

Gotta have some grudging respect for Pop on this one. If he can help prevent us from becoming formidable in the West, why shouldn't he? If we weren't involved in this potential trade and I found out Magic told the Pelicans not to cave to the C Bags, I'd be on here saying "that's my guy."

This is why teams like the Pels feel like a sweat shop and never really do anything meaningful. CP3 and now AD gave some prime years to the franchise and get treated like on the way out. Good luck with the rebuild, you're gonna need it.
