Kyrie actually won a championship. He went from winning 24 games, then 33 games... then of course when LBJ came they go to the finals, win a title, go to the finals, then he goes to Boston and gets to the ECF losing to LBJ, then still goes to the playoffs the following year even though he was hurt a lot through the season.

Paul George? Indy makes the playoffs every single year except the year that he had that horrible injury. OKC? still winning games but saddled with Russ in a two year slump. This year still a threat to win the title in spite of their chemistry issues. He only misses the playoffs once because he broke his leg.

Jimmy Butler? Chicago makes the playoffs every year but one while he's there even though he was low draft pick that came out of nowhere. As soon as he leaves for Minnesota... Chicago goes completely down the toilet. He makes the playoffs with Minnesota... then they fight and the Timberwolves go down the toilet also. Goes to the playoffs with Philly. So far is leading Miami to an unexpected 3rd seed in the East. He also only misses the playoffs once.

Dwight Howard? The pariah no one wanted except myself and a few others. Sure he's a head case or was but still... when he joined the Magic... they jumped 15 games in the win column. Then they went up to 40 and they made the playoffs... then they went up to 52 wins... then they went up to 59 wins and got to the finals. Won 59 games again and got to the ECF. Struggled the following season but still won 52 games and then still made the playoffs when he was fighting with Stan Van Gundy. When Dwight left, Orlando completely collapsed winning only 20 games. We know what happened here... still made the playoffs even though he ended up quitting. 3 tumultuous years in Houston... but still made the playoffs every year and won over 50 games twice. Still made the playoffs in Atlanta and even though by then he was considered a cancer... Atlanta went down the toilet even further to the point where they could have drafted Luka. At Charlotte he didn't make the playoffs but he didn't make them worse... their record was the same before and after he came. At Washington was the scandal that probably forced him to go into hiding for a year. And now, he's helping us as a super sub.
Bottom line, Dwight made the playoffs 11 years in a row.

Every star you mentioned has won more than AD at New Orleans who only had 2 winning seasons and one playoff series win in 7 years.

    The bias is incredible.

And again I like AD, but I suppose only AD has played under adverse conditions and everyone of these other players has just been lucky their entire career.

This is why some folks think you're a troll: I'm a Cleveland fan.
-Kyrie's team underachieved so badly that they were able to get the #1 overall pick two years in a row: only reason Lebron came back because he got a commitment from the Cavs management to use that #1 pick to get Kevin Love. There was no way he was coming back to that team w/o a 3rd All-star
-The Boston team that played the Cavs did NOT have Kyrie who was hurt for most of the year. This is a huge indictment of Kyrie as his team have done better without him in Boston or still made the Finals (ala Cleveland that same year)

NO was also in the Western Conference which was ridiculously strong till the past year

gluteus maximus contusion? he can ask dwight for advice on how to treat that

this is the best possible news regarding AD. i'd still sit him out at least one game on the road trip though just to be safe

But I'm not saying these guys are perfect. I get that Brooklyn was also doing okay until this big losing streak. He was saying that it was absurd to compare these other stars when it isn't. Kyrie couldn't win by himself, AD couldn't win by himself. Kyrie was probably the weakest on the list in terms of impact on the team... but Dwight elevated his teams... PG did, Jimmy did. AD won 2 out of 7 seasons. His team's winning percentage didn't change when he joined the team. Shaq, Kareem, LBJ teams all had significant gains when they joined their respective teams.

It would be trolling if I brought it up out of nowhere but when someone says all these stars aren't worthy of comparison to AD, it becomes fair game to point out how maybe they are. Dwight made the playoffs 11 times in a row. He's making peanuts and treated like an afterthought. The other person is treated like a god who dared not be questioned under any circumstance.

This means he landed on his butt cheek rather than his spine... very good news.

This is great news. Better to be "butthurt" then to have issues with the spine. Much, much better. He's traveling with the team, but still... he should not play. We should sacrifice some games here and there for AD to get better and for Bron to rest a little. Although Bron is a beast - but everyone can use some rest from time to time.

PLEASE rest for the b2b this weekend. I don't want AD getting injured further as we have a tough stretch coming up with Houston Boston LAC and Sixers. I know Dallas/OKC is going to be tough but let's not risk it - let KUZ get some run with the starters - should be able to handle both teams without AD imo.

It's always the same (good) thing with A.D , he gets injured , it looks it may be serious then he plays the next game .

So, the headline should read... "Anthony Davis is butthurt & not signing extension with the Lakers". : )

It's actually one of the more sensible things he's said.

Ingram had a full quarter to tie AD for triple doubles in a career. (Needed those two rebounds)

Unfortunately he was guarding the perimeter during the fourth so it wasn't meant to be. (Needs to take padding lessons from Russ)

Give him a couple of games off....

I'd rather lose a couple of games now than be banged up in the post-season. It seems because of the horrible past 8 years, the Lakers are on a regular season redemption trip, which they shouldn't be given whats at stake in 4 months.

    Another great game by BI

hopefully AD knows his body well enough not to take any unnecessary risks. Glad he wants to play
