I was being sarcastic... Rondo's season assist turnover ratio is virtually the same as it's always been.

AD's career assist turnover ratio per 36 is 2.3 to 2.0 which is a little over one to one ratio
LBJ's career assist turnover ratio per 36 is 6.8 to 3.3 which is a two to one ratio
Rondo's career assist turnover ratio per 36 is 9.6 to 3.2 which is a three to one ratio

Why does my thinking Rondo should be the playmaker make me a Pelicans fan?

Rondo just needs to punch Harden in the face, and everyone will love him again.

    C'mon Rondo.....

Rondo is going to be the primary playmaker because we have no better options...

And you seem to be infatuated with our former Lakers that are now Pelicans; I was merely making a suggestion that if you feel so passionately, you want want to convert to being a Pelicans fan?

As far as AD doing more play-making? I think that should be explore because of our lack of competent play-making options....

Wait, I watch every single Lakers game during their down period, and you are questioning my loyalty because I care about our old players?

I don't know about you... but to me the true fan is the one who watches them through the good and the bad which I have done... and I'm sure this board has because it was formed during the bad times.

Difference is that once I like our players... I still have affection for them when they are gone... I don't just stop rooting for them because they are gone unless they are jerks.

I have no problem with AD attempting to do it... in the same way I have no problem with AD learning to become a better 3 point shooter.

But when the game's on the line... you need a tried and true veteran running the offense.

I'm a huge Caruso fan... but I don't want him running the point in a tight game. Rather see Rajon do it unless it's a blowout.

    It's a Lakers forum.

I am sure you know that. The kids are gone. But we have an NBA section that you can profess your love for those former players that you have such an affinity for...

    Ok?

I was on topic... I felt it wasn't wise for AD to run the offense with his career 1 to 1 assist turnover ratio.

We aren't a rebuilding club... we are a supposedly a championship caliber team that can't drop any more games this month.

You brought up the Pelicans this time.

I did - because you seemingly do in every other forum.

Or just go off on tangents or stories that nobody cares about.

    Either way, moving on...

He's softer than 2008 Pau on offense .

At least Pau was playing near the basket

Yes, sadly he is very soft on offense. I'm most disappointed in his rebounding though... We can't be giving away every frickin defensive rebound.
    .

    Harrell was his daddy tonight.

All those fadeaway jumpers and threes. Maybe he’s still injured and didn’t want to risk injury. Otherwise, he looks extremely soft for not wanting to mix it up with a smaller Clippers team.

Wish we ran more plays in the post for him. He sets up too far from the basket and settles for too many jumpers.

has to be by design. they were posting him like crazy early in the season. the offense has actually been better since we stopped that, though, even though his own touches are underwhelming at times. well, underwhelming to the tune of 26ppg.

of coure youd need to add his avg. his avg dont mean squat, when we need an easy basekt he takes fade away jump shot n stands at 3pt line waiting to Jack up a 3
