    He is not playing tonight.
Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis (shoulder and rib soreness) will not play tonight against the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
For this Warriors roster Howard and McGee should be enough.

This is especially true considering the Clippers are our biggest threat in the West, and we'll have home court advantage for all 7 of those games regardless of the standings.

I thought making dude “uncomfortable” playing the 5 in minimally inconsequential early regular season games was the way to go.

yeah give him a week off

if you keep playing him on a bad shoulder he'll eventually hurt it more and miss the rest of the season which means no playoffs or a quick 1st round exit

Refusing an MRI is not a great look.

Let’s just say, I agree with you...and it’s an understatement as to just how much I agree with you.

I do not value our regular season seeding as long as our stars are as close to 100 as possible.

Anyways, as for that other conversation that’s been going on, AD is Batman cause Bron said so.

i'll play devil's advocate: a week's worth of rest ain't fixing his problem. we can strategically rest him if he tweaks it and such, but unless he plans on sitting for a very long time, this is life for this season. i get why he wants to play, and i think the team has to put up a fight in the name of protecting his health. but it's his choice, and we do need him.

Yo bro that position is taken.

Also if we want to make him the focal point of the offense...want him to play as a DPoY candidate...want him to play thru injury....you would think the least we could do is honor his request to keep him “comfortable”.

As for honoring his request to bypass a MRI...nah bruh, we’ll keep you away from playing the center position, but you have to take that MRI. You our future and we can’t be shortsighted about this.

What are you talking about? AD only plays a few minutes at center. I don't know what you're arguing or want you're accusing others of arguing.

    What are you talking about?

Define a few minutes. McGee avg 15.5mpg and Dwight avgs 20.5mpg...so what’s that 36mpg. Who is playing center for 1/4 of the games then?

Tonight with no AD, McGee logged 27mins and Dwight logged 21mins. So they played a whole game’s worth at center. So what’s stopping us from doing that every game, unless McGee/Dwight can’t handle the load. In which case, get a 3rd forward/center till Boog gets back.

That’s what I’m arguing...as for who I’m arguing it with, there are folks that think it’s no big deal that AD requested he does not play center till the playoffs.

Try to pay attention, cause it’s been rehashed numerous times now haha.

Wow, you can't help yourself can you? My reading comprehension is fine (Mod edit) . 12 minutes? That's your argument? Do better.

Glad he sat as we didn't need him. Wouldn't mind if he sat against the Kings either.
