I’m dead serious, can we still find a way to work the trade to get AD his full kicker? Like at this current rate, he’ll have given up his kicker for Rondo.

I don't like all the narratives that will be coming out but there's going to be some truth to some of it and well, that means all these clip shills, like Woj, will be coming out with the "I told you so's".

-Kawhi obviously was linked to the cLips
-Kawhi wanted to play with another star like KD, Butler or anybody not named Bron
-I guess not every star player wants to team-up with Bron
-Bron/AD did not have the major recruiting punch we thought it would with other guys trying to take bargain contracts to play with them
-Like last summer, the Bron signing being overshadowed by a Boogie WTF signing parallels with the excitement of the AD trade being snuffed out by the Kawhi/George WTF creation
-Our FO is dumb AF for not pursuing a real prez once Magic stepped down. Our FO has leaked all over the place and Magic had a big mouth, but that didn't really do us in. It's the wasted opportunity of not replacing our Prez position with someone that had the credentials to do so. For example, Griff works have been infinitely better the current Rob/Rambii format.

With all that being said, the cLips could have easily presented the package they traded to get PG to the Pels for AD. But that didn't happen. Which means the narrative of AD wanting to come pair with Bron is also completely true and for that I applaud the f*** out of AD, Bron and Klutch for allowing us to save some face in all of this. Otherwise it could have been much worse (see Knicks).

 

Davis has done more recruiting than any of our players in the past. Love the guy

I hope AD is looking at all this disrespect to his skill by the media and goes Kobe/MJ mode on the league. I know Kawhi put on a show in the playoffs BUT... this is still Anthony Davis who is getting treated like a 2nd tier star....

 

I'm not trying to disrespect Shaq here at all but if you go look at his top career 6 games it's actually very comparable to ADs #s from just the last few season's top 6 games only.

That's not even AD's top career games though I'm sure most of his best games were the past few seasons but the point is look how close these numbers are. Slight edge to AD's actually his blocks are off da hook and he is so active on defense. And now teams are gonna have to put a big out on Boogie his shot commands respect most teams these days don't usually have more than 1 actual big out on the floor now it's all SF-PF tweeners these days. Most of the real bigs aren't talented and athletic now.
