    "On the cusp"...bruh, we always had 32m as long as the AD trade happened AFTER we used our availabile cap space towards a max free agent. Goddamn, even your boy is saying it...



    If this becomes a Laker/Pels/Atl/Wiz consolidated AD trade, then all teams have to find a way to "touch" each other in this scenario.

    If the deal is broken up as 2 trades with Zo/Bi/Hart/picks to Pels for AD and Moe/Bonga/JJ/2022 2nd to Wiz for a 4.9m trade exception (that we will renounce).

    So no matter how its constructed (4team deal vs 2 separate deals), then LA will only have south of 29m in cap space if the AD deal goes down BEFORE we use our available cap.

    We never needed to clear Moe, Bonga, JJ to create 32m. That's absolutely false. We needed to include at least Moe and one of Bonga or JJ to salary match AD's deal without some of it leaking into our availabile cap space. Media had it's intentions to misinform...

    In any trade, all teams involved have to send out something to make a deal. The lakers had to give WAS something in return. A 2nd rounder is about as little as it gets.

    You would assume so, but you never know.. Teams make drastic moves to open Cap Space all the time without any guarantees.
    AD waiving his Trade Kicker is very encouraging but could just mean he knew he had to in order to give the Lakers the best shot at a 3rd Guy. I'm gonna stay positive & say, Yes we're getting a 3rd Max Guy..

    I love the guys we are getting .. and I love that it actually looks like we are trying again
    I still hate the silence and robs smug look. Something about him and jeanie being too passive and silent give me the heebeejeebies.. but if they are putting a super mega team of AD LBJ and KL together. I'm willing to look past it

    While I like it from that standpoint .. I dont like it for the legacy part.. do we retire 23.. twice now. For bron and ad? I know nitpicking and it's a nice dilemma to have. My OCD is still acting up from Kobe being up there twice.
