    I get it, I do. I’m just to excited to be worried right now. This is a risk we had to take IMO though, especially after KD and Klay both went down, this is the season to go out and steal a chip. Also, Woj is reporting we can offer AD a projected 5 year $205.3 mil deal next summer. You combine the most money available to be offered, with him being on THE specific team he asked to be traded to, and I can’t see him leaving. The FO gave up a lot to get him, I don’t think they do so unless they know through Rich Paul he is staying, same reason the C Bags would NOT offer Tatum in a deal because they were told he would not re-sign with them.

    I'll post this again in the 2019 Free Agency thread once we have one but for now this is a good spot I thought.



    I'm not sure its possible but I'd love it if we could some how sign either - Kawhi, Kyrie, or Butler and then sign Nikola Vucevic with the mid level exception so AD can play his natural position - PF and we have a skilled shooting big man.

    It’s not possible, if we signed a 3rd max guy, we only have the room exception and vet min. To have a player in the style of Vuc we’d have to try and get Brook Lopez back.

    Could we sign a free agent at a discount on a 1+1 deal, and then they opt out and we give them a full max next summer even if we don’t have the full cap space? Or would we not have their bird rights yet?

    Also, are we going to have a general free agency thread?

    I don’t know the answer to the first part of your post, but as far as a free agency thread, we’ve been using this one all year

    Woke up at 1AM to see this. Awesome! We got one of the top players in the league, a true 2-way player. And we kept Kuzma.

    Let’s go get Kawhi, Kyrie or Butler, sign McGee+Caruso and then we can compete for that 19-20 championship. We’re back!
