I’m glad Pelinka held on to Kuz.

    Championship run starts now!

    I'm assuming that's our #4 this Year + 2 Future picks (that'll be useless)

I mean we got AD and kept one out of BI/Zo/Kuz. Sucks to have to throw in Hart too, we could've definitely used him for depth with a depleted roster. I don't care too much about the extra picks.

Overall we got a superstar in his prime to pair with Bron. Can't complain.

It’s not 4 picks though, it’s 3 picks including 4th pick in this draft, so 3 1sts overall. It’s a lot to give up, but the 2 future firsts will likely be 25 to 30 in the draft if we are good. Really, as far as actual right now assets we gave up BI, Zo, Hart, and Garland (is you believe he’s who we’d have drafted). Gotta give to get. I like that we were able to keep at least one of the 4 guys out of the best young players on our roster in Kuz, hopefully working with that shooting coach pays off. I’ll miss Hart too, but he has been very injury prone right too along with Zo and BI, so we probably kept the guy that has had the best overall health.

I don’t want Kemba either. Does anyone realize he’s like 3” taller than Isaiah Thomas? He would be exploited defensively.

I would rather spend that money on maxing out D’Angelo (being serious).

Welp. The deal is done and I’m glad. Sounds like it was still a high price but we got another big piece toward another title today.

Lakers will aggressively pursue guards in addition to Kawhi. Internally focus has shifted...

    Plan A: Kawhi
    Plan B: Kyrie
    Plan C: Kemba
    Plan D: Jimmy

got rid of the albatross (lonzo) and gained an all-star... finally, the 2019 (v2.0) plan, which is justified considering the warriors' recent setbacks...

I agree. I wish we had a Hart who I think just needed to get healthy to really flurish. But I think another reason why he was included is because we really needed to try and make room for a #3 max player. Having Hart may have made that impossible. I'm not certain on this but I think this is the case.

I'm hearing the 2nd of the 2 future firsts we gave (not #4) may have protection. I don't think the first one does... details trickling in...

Sorry, could swear I read your post as “#4 and 3 more 1sts > Kuz”, misunderstanding.

Yuck why is Kemba plan C above Jimmy? Lol.

Your better off paying Jimmy and have Caruso start at PG lol. At least both play defense!

I believe Wagner and Bonga make similar salary to Hart so if it was a matter of having to shed salary, we could've added them instead. I figure the Pelicans demanded Hart and we weren't going to make him a dealbreaker.
