Should I pull up some Kobe numbers circa 2005?

 Did you seriously just compare Kevin Love and AD? That’s hating for the sake of hating, that’s nonsense to keep argument going, I mean seriously? When did Kevin Love ever play defense in his life? Most he’s ever averaged is 0.6 bpg. 2 seasons ago AD was 3rd in MVP voting and 3rd in DPOY voting with 2.6 bpg and his career high was 2.9. Kevin Love has a wingspan of 6’11, AD’s is 7’6. Ridiculous comparison. Kevin Love also went on to win a title when paired with LeBron. Why not use the Garnett comparison too.

    :Nope:

Michael Jordan's 86-87 season was legendary. Dude scored like Wilt (first time someone went over 3k points in a year since Wilt) and played elite defense. He won 40 games, barely made the playoffs, and got swept out.

TEAMS win. You can't make blanket statements like generational talents should always be winning.

Sorry, now you’re just trolling, I already argued this with you the other day, don’t pretend like you forgot. I even linked to basketball reference with a list of all of the rosters AD has played on and how many of the guys aren’t even in the league anymore.

Man oh man I wish this was 10 years ago. I'd spend the entire night drafting a 5 paragraph essay to ether.

Dude, really? You have to be trolling at this point.

Kobe missed the playoffs in 2005. Was he not generational?

Sweet. This thread is slowly turning into a Youtube comment section with the obvious trolling going on here.

Yeah, don’t even bother. The other day he was penalizing AD because he wasn’t Kobe (using the Kwame and Smush defense), now he’s penalized because he’s not Jordan or LeBron. Doesn’t warrant a response when it’s not a reasonable or rational argument. I really don’t get the end point of the argument either, like are we right for not including Kuzma because AD isn’t Kobe, Jordan, or LeBron? Context isn’t important here? What AD could lead to in landing a 3rd max guy and a shot at a title isn’t important because he hasn’t won big where he is yet? I guess we shouldn’t have traded for Pau then.

Is it safe to assume that the Lakers are pretty confident in signing a star/superstar this offseason if they find a way to preserve max cap space after an Anthony Davis trade in your opinion if you don't mind me asking?

Oh I’m not blaming you Weezy. Just saying I don’t believe C Bags are still in this. I would think with Bron and Kyrie relationship, that we would already know whether Kyrie was open to staying in Boston. So that mean Rob would have that information.

I’m right there with you, which is why these reports are confusing. I get all the leverage stuff, but this is some major game playing.
