    I've heard Washington and Atlanta have come into play with Phoenix and Chicago talks slowing down.

    Would Lonzo or Kuz + #4 parlay NOLA Beal?

    Right. So, agree in principal ASAP, then you can convince guys to come in and work out for you. Have the Lakers draft for you at #4, and when the timing is right, sign the max FA and then execute the AD trade that's already been agreed upon. Simple.

    I mean, I get wanting to acquire “more” than the #4 pick for AD, but at the same time I kinda don’t. This is a rebuild. You get BI and Zo, you draft Zion, you’re rebuilding to be really good in a few years. Why would you prefer to add likely some borderline all-star or name for the sake of adding a name to that rather than drafting Culver or Garland and thinking long-term?

    Oh, yes, that would be ideal, we aren’t actually disagreeing at all. I still think the deal gets leaked or announced as being agreed to publicly though, so all players involved know what’s going on.

    I'm getting pissed off because I really don't want to lose all our young talent that we suffered for 6 years to just see go away for a injury proned player. I get losing 2 out of the 4 assets (bi, Zo, kuz,4th pick) but not all of them.

    We are losing them but gaining AD. It's not like we are letting them walk for nothing because we want to keep max slots open.

    Right, Zion already does that. Adding an “all-star” probably only gets you a few more wins you don’t want when you’re back in the lottery again next year.

    If we miss out on AD because of Kuz... :speechless: He’s a fine 6th man for scoring, but come on, we’re talking about a true 2-way franchise player that has been an MVP candidate before. I would hope that’s just holding out til the last minute negotiating.

    Lakers and Pels have agreed to a deal that seems to be centered around BI and Zo from what I’ve gathered from some. The Pels are just wanting to flip the #4th pick

    We're not including all three assets. Pelicans are starting to get greedy with their demands. Kuzma? Flipping the #4 for a high level player?

    They need to cool it or the deal will die.
