This was probably the initial offer that Griffin put on that table that @Mr. Rambis told us about and finally hitting the media. This is why the writer wrote "I think...".

Rob has already countered with Kuz, Hart, and the #4 and I highly doubt that gets accepted, although it's still better than anything Boston or New York has or is willing to offer.

We still have the draft and free agency to really set things into motion for everyone. Unless a team is ballsy enough to pull a Kawhi-like trade with a star for star swap, but the Pels are in no position to compete so that makes no sense for them. They should look to a full rebuild around Zion, and we have the best, young assets to do so with the right team that AD wants to go to. We have the leverage, even NOLA beat writers acknowledge this.

If Zo, Ingram, and Kuz are included in our deal, then the #4 pick isn’t, sorry. I want AD, but if you get him you need CHEAP talent here to still be good. Kuz is cheap talent for a couple more years. The #4 is relatively cheap talent for 4 years. The Pelicans can demand all they want, but we don’t have to do it, they can go take less elsewhere. Zo, Ingram, #4 should be plenty. Zo, Ingram, Kuz, Wagner should be plenty. Ingram, Kuz, #4 should be plenty. We shouldn’t have to give it all, their leverage has gone down since the deadline with the C Bags having a mediocre package to offer, the Knicks not getting that #1 pick, and AD now being a 1 year rental instead of a year and a half rental.

When push comes to shove, unless there's some mystery team coming out of the woods with a crazy Godfather offer, you can hang onto one of BI/Lonzo/#4. If we include all of those, Pelinka's a dummy because we'd be bidding against ourselves in that scenario.

Just like when Miami held onto Wade when we dealt them Shaq, or the Raps held onto Siakam when dealing for Kawhi, Pelinka has to hold firm at hanging onto one of those assets in an AD trade.

I'd be ok with them giving up those three and keeping Kuz. Or substituting Kuz in for Lonzo. At the end of the day I think we need to get AD here.

If they get three of our prime 4 assets, they don't get future 1sts. Hell, I might ask for one.

Hopefully Hart is included in the trade. Doesn't sound like he has the right attitude to play his role with us.

If I had to give up 3 of the 4 main assets, and I got to choose the one to keep, I keep Ingram.

Guessing Ingram is the jewel, no way we keep him, imo.

    Nor the #4.

Think there's a chance to keep lonzo, though.

It goes without saying that we should do our best to keep some of our young assets (be it Kuz and #4, or Ingram, etc.), but at the end of the day, if we trade everything for AD, and we have Bron and Anthony f****** Davis on the Lakers, and maybe even with one of Kyrie/Kawhi/Butler, you will never--and I stress NEVER--sit there wistfully wondering what could have been if only we still had that #4 pick. Or Kuz. Or Ingram. Trust me. you just won't.

I'll call it a win if we can just keep one of Ingram, Ball, Kuz, or #4.... and honestly, I think that would be our best case scenario even with giving up multiple future 1st's.

another legitimate possibility is lonzo going to phx for the #6 plus something (say, milwaukee's 20 1st). then ingram/4/6 go to NO, mil 1st to us.
