    I guess WOJ got what he wanted. Sick of this guy and his Laker hating. Honestly, I didn't think getting this trade done would be this difficult. You have a disgruntled superstar FA who wants out just as we've many times, who relates that he won't be resigning with the franchise. You have a team he wants to go to that has a TON of assets and you don't have a whole lot of REAL competition out there. Boston can't make a deal now and there is absolutely NO reason to think that Danny Ainge will play "fair" when it comes down to dealing with NOP in the summer. In fact, from his track record anyone with a brain can anticipate that he won't! He's notoriously stingy so, no he will not be putting Tatum, his favorite young player in a one year rental for AD. Especially since AD's dad and AD's agent have already laid down the hammer blow that he won't be signing there.

    We offered a GREAT deal, in fact better than it maybe even should have been. It will be the best one that NOP sees. We went all in and I can't fault the FO for doing so. This was the player to go all in for. But it takes two to tango and these guys are knuckleheads. The way many folks in the media and NBA were actively rooting against us and hyping up Boston was friggin' despicable. But I still remember all the media bias against the Showtime Lakers as well. Who here remembers CBS with ex-C bag Tommy Heinsohn calling the Finals games with us against them? That was so horrid. It's always been that way. East Coast bias is for real.

    Sign Kyrie and then trade for Davis in the summer. I hope the Pelicans don't drag this out like the Magic did with Dwight Howard. Perhaps we'll have more time to get a 3rd team involved.

    Pelicans are an afterthought for their owners....they know where the big bucks is, feels like Benson only bought the Pelicans cause Stern forced his hands by giving the franchise to him for pennies on the dollar along with AD at the time. Kinda like Kronke, I think he cares more about the Rams than he does the Nuggets
