    He can file grievance but not for that reason probably. If anything its if they choose to sit him when hes healthy to play.

    Yeah, I don’t think so, you can’t dictate where you’re traded unless you have a no-trade clause, and even then the team doesn’t have to trade you. I think the only way he’d have any grounds for any kind of complaint against the Pelicans is if they don’t allow him to play the rest of the season. Because if he sits out the rest of the season (and I think next season too) on his own he would lose his free agency. So if they held him out they’d be doing what he’s not supposed to do himself, I guess.

    So, another year in which a franchise will refuse to deal with Lakers even though its the players top preference to be traded here. Wonder if this one will end with him likely signing somewhere else like George and seemingly Kawhi.

    Like I said earlier, I’m sick of the Pelicans. Time for them to fade back into obscurity.

    I’m growing more and more comfortable with us moving on and making other deals especially if we can really bring in Beal and/or Vucevic without giving up all of our young guys.

    I’m good with us standing pat too, but after last night the team looks broken. Probably need to make a move.

    Either way, this has been the worst trade negotiation I’ve ever seen in any sport and I can’t wait for us to be done with it.

    If no trade goes down tomorrow, magic, Rob and Jeannie better fly to wherever the Lakers are and apologize for the horrible public frenzy that occurred and reassure them that they are the future of this franchise, and that all these leaks we're false reports (white lie).
