One would hope that each NBA franchise has a scouting department AND their FO takes their word over what the media thinks.....Unfortunately, we are talking about the Pels....media heads opinions on players are gospel.

 

Even though the "no free agents want to play with Kobe" was false, it at least made logical sense. I mean, he was a ball dominant scorer and a demanding teammate.

LeBron is the exact opposite. Dude average 7-10 assists a game and is criticized for *overpassing* if anything. He also seems really encouraging of his teammates publicly.

Why people say nobody wants to play with LeBron, I have no idea...

 

Also if Luke had just hired a damn shooting coach, and BI and Lonzo could actually take and make 3's... half of this s*** wouldn't be a problem right now.

 

I'm not sure how this failed deal makes it look like no FA's want to play with LeBron.. Or devalues our youth.
The C's are basically promising all of their youth too, does this mean they have no value..This is AD we're talking about.

 

I'm still holding out hope... I would imagine that the Lakers have a plan "B" maybe for Orlando's Vucevic but I don't think the deal with the Pooplicans is dead yet. If anything happens it will be last second so Pooplicans can say that they "bested" the Lakers and the Lakers still get AD.

I honestly believe that no one knows what is going on... especially the tools at ESPN.

 

Given that Tobias Harris cost 2 first round picks and a young player in Landry Shamet...I'm guessing we'd have to give up 2 firsts and Josh Hart for Vucevic?

LOL I mean your posts are always knowledgeable but going forward .... whatever the already apparently negative perception of being an elite player and having to play 2nd fiddle to LeBron always was before ..... now you can add two facing an entire roster appearing to be all about making them better while the agency you basically run is shipping the whole f****** lot of them out the door for a guy you want to help you out ..... is not going to play well going forward with an already biased media and other players' perception. Our only hope is some miracle to pull AD by 2020. And Klutch went and f****** opened the door publicly for AD if traded to the Clippers to resign there!!!! Cue bidding war (or if Clippers have nothing to bid it's yeah me just rambling now but why give Jerry f****** West a teasing incentive like that?) between Boston and the Clippers and he f****** lives in sunny Westlake now.

If NO doesn't trade him by Thursday to us with Magic humiliated and on his knees they sure as hell won't come this summer. Nice another piece of bad strategy if Rich and LeBron thought including the Clippers since they can't do it NOW would just push AD to us before this deadline and show the NBA and entire world how fairly we've acted while stealing NO's superstar a year and a half early. I hate how these "journalists" are allowed to report something literally by saying "Sources" or "Insider". Give me a quote, give me a video of it coming from their mouth, otherwise, your "source" is garbage until it's official.
