honestly, if they played better, they wouldn't have been dangled so hard (see tatum, michael jeffrey). if they want to stay, they can play better. if they want to walk, they'll have to take less money and/or deal with RFA.

i'm done with lavar, though. get ball to phx now if they'll give up 2 1sts or one 1st and a youngster we like. just don't need that kind of crap.

no, it's bad. chemistry wasn't great before, though, tbh. everyone's known they might be on their way out. they couldn't have just ignored what happened with russell and randle.

I've been done with Lavar for years now.

If you talk Ball or Ingram I agree. But Kuzma is currently the best contract in the NBA and certainly played better than he was supposed to. He has been slowed by injuries bug he was ballin.

If you aren’t a potential HOF’er, then you have to understand if you are potentially traded for one.

I see that as pretty understandable. The team simply has to do it. It’s not personal, it’s business.

Kuz and BI I’m not worried about.

Kuz even said he was okay with being rumored because he knows he’s wanted. They’re more leveled headed. It’s Lonzo and his “camp” that’s going to be an issue.

Ya Lonzo is mentally fragile and doesn't have the balls to keep daddy in check either. He is hurt so at least he doesn't play.

Yep. Like I said earlier. Trade him to Phoenix for a top 3 protected pick in 2019 which becomes unprotected in 2020 and I'm happy. I don't even need a second 1st or a youngster. We can play without Lonzo since Lebron becomes the defacto point guard in crunch time anyway. We can use that Phoenix pick as a major trade piece later. Swing Zubac, KCP and Wagner or Hart for Vucevic and call it a day.

F*** the Pelicans. Go try and get some shooters before Thursday if anything. Try and get Beal and/or Vucevic if you’re really trying to salvage the season. I wouldn’t mind Ball being shipped for assets with how Lavar made the franchise look today either

    Enjoy this clusterf***, Pelicans.

lets try to get more help elsewhere that doesn't affect our 19' cap...I still believe we'll get a max FA guy that we wanted this off-season

Actually, I'm happy about this. We offered you everything, but don't come back to us anymore. Good luck. We'll get someone in the offseason. And the Pelicans ARE going to get robbed, everyone knows it. Also, our young guys will play better now. :) :Noddingyes:

Good. From reading the article, it sounds like the Pelicans told us it would take Ingram, Ball, Kuz, 2 firsts and contracts for cap relief of Solomon Hill. We said OK and they changed their mind and wanted 2 more picks.

No way should we get blamed for this (but we will). We offered them the kitchen sink, cap relief and draft picks and they wanted more? f*** off, glad we publicly walked away, and to see a lot of other teams' fans agree that the demands are ridiculous.

In all this mess, Lavar still found a way to annoy me. Three team trade Ball to Phoenix for Beal. KCP and change for Vucevic and then bunker down for the run to the playoffs.

I’m happy about this. This whole thing was just beyond ridiculous. Pelicans are clueless and we gave them more than a fair offer. It was definitely time to tell them to kick rocks even if we don’t ever end up getting Davis.
