I was 99% sure this trade was not happening because no one wants to trade us Superstars, now it's 100% lol. The only way is Free Agency.

If Momo is accurate in reporting - we are now in the 'spin cycle for NO backing away from the table and trying to do damage control for their fans as to the answer to the question - 'what the heck?'

 

I'm ready to walk away if that's what they want. So much for negotiating in good faith, we'll remember this. Can't wait for them to get a fraction of what they want come summer.

 

And that might be Demps fatal mistake. Ainge is watching. He knows that Demps came close to taking less than Tatum and 4 picks to pull this deal off. There is zero chance Boston makes that type of an offer on a possible 1 year rental. Lets move on and make something happen on the secondary market for KCP with Zubac while he is a commodity.

So true. Poor Pelicans fans. They know that they will not get a better deal during the summer thanks to Klutz and Davis Sr., either way Demps is in trouble explaining this fiasco to whatever ticket holders they have left.

What is Boston's contingency when Ky leaves and they're cap strapped? Trading for AD...fine, good for the Pels, but then AD leaves in a year and now you have no young core and no precious draft picks, Golldumb.

Time to walk away...as much as I want AD...I want the Pelicans to get screwed this summer when Ainge doesn't offer Tatum and Knicks don't land the #1 pick.

I just want thsi to be over...it's distracting our team and we need to focus on making the playoffs. Hopefully this motivates our young guys to really step it up on this road trip...we got Indy, Boston, Philly and ATL...need to go 3-1 over this stretch.

 

I don't remember this level of collaborative hate towards Mitch. The league was salty after the pau and cp3 trades but never colluded to prevent trades like this.

Is the hate towards Rob due to past bad blood as a cutthroat agent? Or is it klutch?

At least with Vucevic...we likely don't have to give up any of our young guys...likely just KCP for Vuc and we attach the 2019 first to it to say f*** off to the Pelicans...
