    well that playoff run had as much to do with Jrue/Rondo as it did with AD, maybe a lil Cousins too....you do need depth to win in this league, 2 top 7 players dont matter much in todays league and I know we like to use James leading scrubs in the east to finals but this aint the east

    Just a recap, but still, good to know where things reportedly are



    I really don’t get why AD would add the Knicks, Clippers, and Bucks to his list. Knicks have garbage ownership, Clippers don’t have much to offer IMO, and the Bucks already have Giannis and the league’s best record. How does this help in getting to the Lakers? Maybe those teams are listed BECAUSE they can’t or wouldn’t make a deal? At least Boston isn’t on the list.

    If this trade goes through, you're talking about a new 95%-100% roster overhaul in a very short period of time. This is in less than 2 years since Maginca took over. Wow!

    Solomon Hill hasn’t been playing that much but this is still interesting. If he’s a “DNP - CD” despite all the Pelicans injuries then something is up.

    adding three teams that could not make an offer to compete with the lakers's to the list of destinations was clearly a strategic move.

    the league is in full-blown panic mode, as they have been for a few weeks really--maybe ever since the agency switch. they're trying every way possible to prevent this trade, and davis's folks are pulling out all the stops to get it done, imo.

    No idea how credible or plugged in this guy is, but he’s repeating what he said earlier. I personally don’t see how Tatum is better than our young 3, and considering the C Bags can’t deal until July, the 1st round picks they have to trade right now will be actual players by that time, so...yeah, not as valuable either. The “C Bags have the most to offer in the summer” angle is complete BS to me unless Hayward comes around and they offer him too.

    Seems like they like any idea/dream of trading with some other team than the Lakers now. I was pretty positive about the trade happening before, but I'm starting to believe we will have to wait until the summer.

    Any chance you have a link to what Ramona said that suggested Turner’s sources are from NO? Sounds strange. Not sure why New Orleans would leak our “Godfather offer”. The consensus seems to be that Pelicans should take the deal and other teams shouldn’t bother trying to compete with it.

    Can’t lose track of the fact that this trade isn’t just for now. It’s for the next decade. Davis is a legit top guy we can build around even after LeBron is gone.

    We will snag some guys who are bought out to fill in the roster after the trade and that will be that.
