Would've preferred Matt barnes back at vet min....we don't have that enforce aka thug type who will stand up for their teammates when things get ugly
the problem with Barnes is that he is fake thug. I think our young guys need better influence than turds like Barnes.
How is he fake? He consistently comes to his teammates defense and does the dirty flagrant type fouls youll need from time to time, i mean are you expecting him to bust out a gap on opposing players or something? Hes certainly more legitmate thug than kg who is epidemy of fake though guy. He's at least serviceable on those corner 3s and sporadically gets hot from 3s. I thought our guys loved him when he was here? Certainly more useful last yr than mwp
the problem may in fact be that he's not fake. or maybe the problem is that he's not a good basketball player, and that every single team that thought he might be changed their mind within about 18 months.
when the downside starts outweighing the upside, people don't get invited back.... sometimes life ain't fair.
But hell yeah, if Luke can turn AB back into some semblance of the shooter he was at Stanford and now playing some more manly defense out there with his new muscles, let's see him subbing at the 2 once in awhile if needed to help "try" to cool some bigger 2 off like Harden. Ooops forgot he's a PG now. DAR will lock him up..... or down ....whatever.
