Impressed with his defensive intensity, still need to be confidence with his shots.

    That is all Mr Invisible.

Kelly's fundamentals were fools gold. I thought he was going to be good too his first year just by seeing how he knew how to roll with the offense. But he couldnt make jack crap after that. It was crazy how bad he was.

Brown's ability to defend is legit. Shooting? Not yet.

Maybe he can play a Thabo role. Maybe not. Maybe he can just be a defensive specialist who can actually do it. Unlike Darius Morris.

Did a great job covering Hield but horsey is a undersized shooting guard so welcome to the NBA, shrimp.

I just don't get it. Is it mental? Can he shoot well in practice? His defense is above average, bordering on very good. If he can't hit a three though then he won't stick in the league. What a weird situation for the young man. His greatest strength coming into the draft and it's turned into his biggest weakness. That and being able to dribble and drive effectively.

We still don't have that crisp passing to give the millisecond needed by shooters although DAR zipped one to him that he converted. Maybe he's overthinking it like Sasha.

It's a confidence thing. He's looking to pass as soon as the ball comes to him unless he's wide open in the corners. If he can play a Bruce Bowen role (literally couldn't do anything other than shoot mostly corner 3's and play lockdown defense) i'd be stoked.

He will have to work on his jump kicks to the face, but if he can get that going, I could see Bowen. No, actually I can't. Thabo is his ceiling.

He looks so hesitant out there. Just too indecisive. I hope he gets over this mental issue because if he could knock down the shots he COULD take, he would be a solid role player.

I mean we know he can shoot...has to be a mental thing. But one thing I will praise is that he knows the one thing he can bring is defensive effort...and he's doing that well at least.

Brown has good shooting form and requisite size to be a 2... He [and Black] is where Shaw earns his paycheck. It could be mental or he is deferring to the big dogs on the squad.

Sasha syndrome and what @Barnstable said. He's a little too hesitant on his shot and indecisive.

Well then that sucks because that one mental block could play him right out of the NBA and he seems like a really nice kid.

I don't know .... he was looking pretty bigger, thicker and solider :p already than last year while he was harassing Mr. I should be taken with the 2nd pick in the draft shorty shooting guard.

It's funny, because (sp?) Rydjoerker did one of his breakdowns on Brown after we drafted him and was just killing, even mocking him for his defensive potential. Then he comes out last year and that's the first thing (and unfortunately to this day) the only thing the staff was praising him for.

Hey it's only one SL game and Luuke and everyone on his staff are a bunch of "positive" em effers. Lets see how Brownie's looking a couple months into the season. No more benches talking to butts. We actually have a quality coaching staff now. I thought he looked rather athletic and beastly on defense yesterday. Good for him. Definitely a lot stronger looking.

Zach looks like a clown to me. I'd rather have Anthony Brown.

Both are borderline NBA talents but Brown is a high character guy and mature.
