OK, he did not break the NBA record, but the guy can definitely shoot. So, the question is - how is he not on some NBA team already, playing the "sniper" role off the bench for very little $$? It seems like a good investment for any team to have a deadeye shooter like that.
Where's OX ..... he'll tell you what "feel good stories" are worth in "colorful" terms. Just yanking your chain. You were right about Mozgov and wouldn't even let me pay you the $10.
Bring him back on a vet min next year (2.2M)....love this guy's attitude! If things go to "plan", we're going to need the shooting. Plus with the way his shot looks, maybe he can teach Zo a thing or two or 3. And shout out to all the ride or die wifeys out there!
Part time. Short season. Low ticket prices. Small audiences. A chance to continue to pursue their dream. Not an easy life for sure without supportive family. Good thing LiAngelo’s Dad will pay the insurance on his Lamborghini lol
Man this is all over the top uplifting that he got this chance the way he did with the Lakers recording every second of it ... and then going out there and seizing the moment spectacularly. NBA players, ESPN, Lakers players all showing him the love. He and his family will have this for the rest of their lives. Would not be surprised to see or not see a movie some day. Huge, positive PR for the Lakers heading into free agency. Just unbelievably good Karma coming out of this. SCOREBOARD
Sidebar: check out the Phil-waddle that Luke does when he methodically heads towards Dre w/the game ball and the Gasol chest tap he does to him when he gets there....If that's any indication as to what's to come in terms of coaching, then Luke's a keeper for sure! #Philostrophy107
This guy has a treasure trove of images and A/V capture to cherish the rest of his life. I mean like a trophy room. A big framed picture of that for instance.
Serious question: Our scouting dept has shown to be amazing, so why has it taken 10 yrs for this dude to get some run behind the likes of GP2, Vander Blue, etc? 1. The scouting dept missed something for 10 years. 2. This guys nowhere near this good and just caught lightning in a bottle last night. (even 1/3 that good and he's better than GP2 and vander)
Part time is my gripe, precisely. You need it to be all you do for you to make it to the NBA. It can’t be something that you do on the side. So the salary makes it even harder. You have to get another job.
