His passing has been very impressive. There were a few plays where he didn’t get the assist because the receiving player either missed or didn’t shoot, but the way he was able to zip it to the open man from the post was nice and bodes well for his ability to fit in with Lebron and AD.
He got to wherever he wanted to out there. It's fun seeing a big with his skills impose his will. Definitely noticed he looked to be even more aggressive when Dennis got tossed to make sure the tides didn't turn. Proved he isn't just empty stats and he can dominate in limited PT.
He looks very comfortable chasing perimeter players out of the paint as well. Can't wait for the team to be at full strength
and this was just an average game for drummond. guy's perfectly capable of putting up 30-20 on any given night also, f*** LMA
There was a little acceleration and unnatural motion on that elbow clearing that face out of the way ... wasn’t there?
There are going to have to bring in Jordan next time if they ever meet again. Jordan would help with the defense, but the Nets offensive spacing would suffer. They would leave AD1 roaming around the paint waiting with his 2nd line of defense.
Just wait till Bron and AD are back and LMA is stuck on an island guarding him without the help of FOUR teammates. #BBQCHICKEN
he's actually fallen out of the rotation in favor of claxton and LMA nets coaching staff must not watch much film because DJ always seems to play well against the lakers, not to mention he's a lot stronger than those two i mentioned. no doubt he'll be in there to defend drummond if these teams meet in the finals
beat me to it. dantoni's idea is to just keep going smaller and trade 3 for 2. he'll murder DJ if he has to.
It's time to make "renaissance painting" a verb. Like, "oh man, did you see the game last night? Drummond straight renaissance painting'd the Nets."
Wish he was as smart on the court as he is big. You can't commit two cheap fouls in the last 5 minutes in a game when the other team is in the bonus and you're behind a couple of possessions. Can't wait to see him in a reduced role with AD and Lebron as he is so frustrating if he's one of your go to guys
