    Punk -- try some Cuban rum if you ever get the chance. When I was in Ecuador we'd drink it and it's amazing.

    If you can get past the suntan lotion smell, Malibu Coconut rum is a personal fave of mine. I know it's a run of the mill brand, but it does the trick for me.

    I'm going to Mexico / Caribbean in December. Gonna try to find a couple bottles of Cuban rum.

    Haven't had a chance to try any of the recommended beers (have a 12 pack I'm trying to finish before getting more).
    Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for spirits. Not my drink of choice but I'm looking for something that isn't to harsh. I'm okay with something fruity as well. Thanks!

    I'm amazed at how many Alcohol Stores there are in Connecticut. I'm guessing it's because there aren't as many bars around the non city areas, so I guess people just have to get their alcohol fix at home.

    Anyone try mixing their own combo brew? I like experimenting with mixing brews I like. Last night watching the Cowboys comeback victory I was enjoying a half and half mix of Guinness Extra Stout and Newcastle Brown Ale.
