These canned micheladas are usually liquid @**, but this was awesome! Very impressed. 3.3% abv though...

Very nice. Big, sweet, rich, and smooth. Peanuts could be a bit more present.

Also very nice. Sweet vanilla and bourbon. Not a strong maple presence.

They are typically horrible. its not hard to make a real one. And you can make them with something other than Modelo or Bud Light.

Yes, I know. I can make a pretty good one with Bohemia, lime, chamoy, clamato, and a little worchestershire, rimmed with tajin. Dude, seriously though...this canned one is legit really good!

I wasn't trying to insinuate you don't if that's how you took it. (Hard to tell on the web). I'm just talking in general. My wife drinks those things sometimes and I don't get it. I'm like, "We have beer, tomato juice, worchester, and limes...almost at all times. Just let me make you one. It takes 30 seconds." :D

I was reading that in some parts of Mexico they put bullion (forgot if it was beef or chicken) in it.

Oh my! This is super exclusive rare stuff. It goes for $150 on the secondary market. It's super sweet vanilla, but in a good way. Not syrupy or artificial at all. Super smooth and awesome. It's a dessert beer for sure. Absolutely amazing.

Very nice sour. Sweet vanilla bourbon with tart cherries to balance it out. Very complex.

Very yummy. Sweet bourbon, cocoa, vanilla and the tart cherries are surprisingly present.

My first premium tequila to drink neat. Very smoothe with lots of oak and sweet agave pepper.

Wow Trader Joe's stepped it up with a sour raspberry beer. It's very good. Slightly sweeter than I expected. It's just $8.99

This was really tastey! I was hoping for more peanut butter flavors, but not much there. The boysenberries were very prominent though.
This was excellent. Its like an almond joy but with a hint of bitter tangy orange. All the flavors come through and are a nice balance.

Wtf strawberry vanilla flavored IPA? Sooo good!

This might be my favorite IPA. It's suuuuuuper thick and opaque like those old canned Kerns nectar. Tasted like apricot IPA nectar. So weird, but 9.2%abv

I'll try to find the craft michelada. Sounds intriguing. Right now, don't ask me why, I'm really into this beer lately.

I typically don't drink a lot of hefes, and I typically don't care too much for super fruity beers, but damn. I can't stop drinking this stuff. And I kind of mean that literally. If I crack one open, I end up drinking at least 2, usually 3. I've been grilling a ton lately and I usually always have one in my hand at all times.

I haven’t posted in here in a couple years. While I still love good beer, I’ve been more into whiskey lately. I love scotch, but this bourbon trend has been fun to research, collect, and taste. Anybody else into bourbon?

I drink almost exclusively cocktails now. One I’m loving is 2 Oz bourbon, .75 lime juice, .75 Oz simple, and .25 Oz scotch. Garnish with ginger. It’s a riff on the Penicillin cocktail.

Sounds delish! What type of scotch, a peaty islay, or a Highland/speyside?

If you enjoy a good old fashioned, you must try smoking the glass on a cedar plank and also adding a tiny sprig of rosemary at the end. Pro tip, rub the inside of the glass with your orange rind first to oil it up, giving the smoke flavor something to stick to. 4:1 ratio of bourbon to simple and then 5-6 dashes of angostura bitters...

All I hear is everyone is drinking way more during this lockdown. Even my wife is drinking a little bit more. My drinking during the last 8 weeks has absolutely plummeted. I can count on one hand the amount of drinks I've had in the last two months. It hasn't been a conscious thing. I think what I'm realizing is I really only drink when I go out and socially. My Irish and German ancestors are so disappointed.
