Had a Widmer Hopside Down and a Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat. Can't really recommend the Tangerine Wheat (strange combo of sweet and bitter), but the Hopside Down was decent.
Damn, I couldn't find a pic of the can! Four Sons Special K 1- comes in a six pack of hot pink cans and pours very pink as well. It's a blonde sour brewed with currants and weighs in at 7.9%abv. For only a couple bucks/can, I was extremely skeptical. How can a cheap-@$$ hot pink sour from a can be any good? It's awesome! It's not a tip-top notch sour by any means, but it's not chopped liver either. It's a VERY solid B+ sour. Incredible! Pick up a can if you see it. i got mine at Total Wine.
Well done Four Sons. You earned a fan. 2 for 2...so far. It's exactly as advertised; habanero+pineapple+ipa. The flavors go well together without being artificial tasting or syrupy or any one flavor sticking out too much. It's a seamless marriage of the the 3. Oh, yeah...it's like 10%abv!
This was really refreshing. The flavors are wet hay barnyard funk and mildly tart watermelon (real fruit, not artificial candy watermelon flavor). Here ya go, @trodgers . A slightly tart and sweet & oaky 3 phils @ only $2.99/bottle.
Very very Meh. I don't get much pineapple or habanero at all. I get funk with a tiny bit of tart. It's basically a mildly tart saison. This one's a little better. The gose and apricot flavors are rich and refreshing. A easy drinking sour if you're just getting into the genre.
This is very sour, as all bruery sours tend to be; but the pinot grapes really come through. It's very good if you like the genre. Very sweet. Very complex caramel and brown sugar and bourbon.
This is a gem of a beer; quite raved about and sought after. I found it on tap at The Public House in Temecula. It's a really good flanders red ale; mildly tart, sweet, fruity cherries, and also very oaky.
So I have no knowledge of where to find the exotic beers @Punk-101 seems to drink frequently, but I discovered a tasty one the other day that I (surprisingly) hadn't come across before. Dogfish Head's Saison Du Buff. A very flavorful IPA despite not having incredible hops (6.8%). Still pretty hoppy.
Looks yummy! You can get a lot of great beers at total wine or bevmo or whole foods or local mom n pop liqueur stores.
This certainly lives up to the hype as one of the best sours out there. Complex, oaky, sweet cherries, and balanced tart. Imperial brown ale with tons of coffee flavor. Big, bold, nutty, and with tons of coffee. Delicious. Dark and complex, with a whole lot of the pomegranate and cranberry coming through considering how roasty and bourbony it is. Awesome balance to pull that off.

Picked up one of these out of a six pack at total wine for only a few bucks/bottle. It's rather nice. Its not a huge complex stout; just regular with some nice tart cherries. It's a nice combo. if this were barrel aged, it would be dynamite!
Very Belgiany, which means lots of spice and raisin anyway. There's a touch of vanilla which is nice. I wouldn't know it was trying to be a carrot cake if i didn't know.
I went to school in san marcos (where this brewery is located) and I gotta say that I love this stuff...many nights spent there lol
I really can't believe some of the amazing beers coming from cans. I loved this! Malty, nutty sweetness of a doppelbock paired with huge amounts of espresso? Yes please! Sour blonde ale fermented with reisling grapes makes for a tart, fizzy white wine. Awesome!
Yeah. Lost Coasts Great White is pretty damn citrusy. I can't imagine what they would accomplish when they are TRYING to make it orangy.
I have actually been grabbing cans lately. Ballast Point and St Archer are both doing cans and they take up less room in the old fridge. It's also nice because they sell those little "soft" coolers that fit a six pack of cans perfectly. Saves me the trouble of having to whip out the big cooler to accommodate the bottles.
