22 isn't that old. We drafted Clarkson at the same age. Larry Nance Jr. was even older. Lillard was drafted at 22 years old.

Larry Nance Jr. school of shooting mechanics taken to the extreme?

EDIT. OK am watching some youtube on him. Beast. And his J looks normal relatively. Wassup with this pic above ..... does he shoot FTs that way? Maybe a floater in action?

It's probably a floater or something LT. Don't overthink it. ;)

I think it is a bad sign for Jordan Clarkson and definitely for Ennis.

Yeah JC and his salary may not look so great to Magic and Rob if they can steal a decent guard for rookie contract. That has some semblance of a defensive game. Still we need offensive firepower off the bench and Lou and Nick both gone.

I agree. It seems like this is the perfect draft to nab a Clarkson-ish guard for cheap and bail on Clarkson's deal even though his deal is really solid for a sixth man.

if they're as down on jc as the fan base, they could easily dump his deal for a couple 2nd rounders.

but, as with lou williams, i'm down for not peddling guys who are earning their salary. there's too many nba players who aren't, relatively speaking. we employ a few.

I think you trade Jordan along with some other assets as a way to dump Deng for a high contract. I really like that idea honestly.

Have only watched Semi's interview so far. Solid. Bright and well spoken kid. Channeling OX ..... no staring off at "invisible birds" while answering questions.

Interesting that Magic/Rob weren't there today to watch these guys. I wonder who was and I wonder why they weren't there?

Semi definitely came off as a mature young man. I thought both Motley and Thornwell came off as mature youngsters too in their interviews. I liked Thornwell's ability to tell me what his focus will be with detail. Motley could be a decent player, but I'm just not sure his head is in the right place.

I hope someone got a video of the workout.

I think if they weren't there they ARE actually showing serious interest in someone but they want to keep it under the radar. Probably eyeing y'all boy Semi.

the list of names in that workout interests me. several guys who *could* be nba players.

i like thornwell--not sure why. i think it's his physicality. he can beat up nba guys right now at the sg spot. but he probably doesn't quite shoot well enough to play it.

I find it very interesting that Dennis Smith Jr. is coming in with a group workout and not on his own. The only other notable name on the list is maybe Tyler Lydon who honestly I don't love.

Can't imagine he wouldn't feel a little bit dissed being that Ball and Jackson so far have been individual, and he's also considered pretty top tier. Top 8 whatever.
