doubt it. He's definitely going in the teens of this draft, especially after his great shooting display at the big Pro Day workout in LA this past weekend.

I don't know if these guys have been running all day or what, but my first thought is if this is a timed drill, why aren't these guys pushing the ball more and sprinting?

If I'm a scout, I'd be looking for:

    1. Hustle up and down the court
    2. The shot form and pull up technique
    3. The handling ability
    4. Awareness of the court and clock
    5. How the approach a missed shot and rebound.

They've been running all day. This happens at the very end of the workout. It's meant to test their resolve and their short form when they're tired.

Still lots of time! He's been moving up the draft boards lately though. We may have missed the window to snatch him...

The Lakers haven't even had Wilson in to workout yet. They're high on him without talking to him? I'm dubious.

The rumor comes from Chad "My Hindsight is 20/20" Ford who says that the Lakers are high on Wilson... this comes just days after DraftExpress has DJ Wilson going 28th to the Lakers... I think you'd be a fool not to see the connection with the hack that Ford is.

That being said, Wilson is a decent prospect.

he's also still my guy at #28 that I would prefer over anyone that is reported to be available around that range.

I love how this drafting process save lives. Amazing job by doctors and the rest of the NBA staff. No more Gathers and Lewis tragedies.

Just as a reminder. I've spoken about Semi at length and I really like that kid. I think he'd make a great pick if he's available at #28 for us. He's sort of ridiculously strong, very athletic in space, and can knock down jumpers with consistency.

PJ Dozier is a name that's sort of whispered about a lot. He's only 20 years old, unique frame. He's 6'6" with a 6'11" wingspan and some bounce. He sort of looks like an unpolished Shaun Livingston to me. I think teams really like his "moldability" a word I just made up.

Motley is a guy I looked into a bit early on. He doesn't seem like the sharpest tool, but he's a unique athlete. He has smooth hip movement that lets him turn and run with a lot of grace. I listened to his interviews and was turned off a bit. He doesn't seem to have a great grasp of his own weaknesses. Seems more like a 2nd round flier to me.

Sindarius Thornwell is a guy hardcore fans have been on about. He had a great tournament this year and has a good physical profile. I like the way his jumper looks, he's a good athlete, and he used to play football so he's got a strong mentality. More of an undersized two than a PG, but he says he can defend 1-4 so long as the 4 is a stretch shooter type. Unfortunately in interviews he said he liked watching the C Bags play, so he's out.

Dotson is a guy some might remember for being dismissed from Oregon following sexual assault charges (the charges were dropped with a lack of evidence). He's remade his image and career at the University of Houston. He's trying to be a 3 and D player with decent athleticism. He can shoot the ball well (44.3% from deep last year). I think he's a reach at #28. Might be more of a Defenders guy.

I have no idea who LJ Rose is.
