Actually, it didn't happen. You're whipping boy Tinkerbell was not a disgruntled superstar. Vando and Beasley were expiring contracts, the exact opposite of "terrible contracts."

Tinkerbell was disgruntled..the Minnesota GM specifically said that team needed more maturity at PG. I hear he didn't like Gobert, not a smart idea to beef with a guy, that your team gave up a bunch of FRP for. Vando and Beasley were salary filler to add to Tinkerbell's 30M contract. H-Town hustle was a good pickup tho.

If Kuminga signs a three-year deal worth around $45 million, it would equal approximately $15 million annually, which falls directly within the range he has reportedly been seeking. Earlier in free agency, Kuminga was reportedly looking for more than $20 million per season, a number that made negotiations much more difficult
