They had two centers with a combine salary less than Walker. Lets say they get bounce in the 1st or second round would it have been worth the pearls? My point is it have to play out if it was worth it or not. Way the early to come to any conclusion.

 

Wemby signs for the 25% max instead of the 30%. Gives the spurs an extra 8-10m per year to build out there team.

He’ll have the same contract size yearly as Reaves. Pretty big coup for San Antonio. If the other young guys follow suit, they could fit 3 guys in Harper, Castle and Wemby in the same (or similar) amount that Tatum and Brown were making at Boston.

Wonder if more players start opting for this to win.
