Yeah as the roster is currently constructed, there definitely is a need for Bronny in the regular season. His defensive upside is a much bigger need for us situationally than Hardy’s scoring.

Absolutely would need to get a real second round pick back for Bronny, at the very least

I actually like Bronny and would love a story where he continues to develop into a rotation player and has some nice moments in a Laker jersey. But if we think Manon can slot in to a similar role, I would love to convert him into an additional second round pick and roster spot. If you do Vando and the pick swap for Kuminga, having 4 second rounders and multiple expiring contracts to trade would be very nice.

Nah man, Kuminga is the Ayton of wings. Talented, athletic but no motor, bball IQ or desire to be a role player.

He is the most important archetype in modern basketball and two teams that really need him, have let him go.

I think it's a world of difference playing with Curry and Luka. Luka always has the ball and you just gotta be good attacking 4 on 3s. Shoot the open shot, cut to the basket or attack the space. Curry plays a lot off ball, there's a million screens going, you're always running, you need to pass and read the game at every position, it's just so different

PJ was Kuminga before arriving to Dallas. He was a pure scorer that didn't do anything else in Charlotte team without any impact on wins.
Luka makes the game really easy for you. Steph is more part of a team game where you need a lot of IQ and to have more versatility and multiple skills

But yeah I don't want to ride or die with Kuminga. He would be a great gamble in our current situation but there's questions about his motor, IQ and consistency. So if we strike out, it's not the end of the world and hopefully we find a starting 4, even if it needs to be during the season
