    see my post above.

we're posturing that we can get him without anyone's cooperation. we probably can't. atl could just re-up him at a higher one-year value and hold him hostage like gs did. HOWEVA...he's UFA now, not RFA. if he tells atlanta he'll accept a s&t ONLY to us, else he'll sign for what we can clear, it's game over.

we need to sell kuminga more than anyone else.

You think Vando + Knecht + two 2nds won't get it done?

I can imagine Atlanta pushing for all 3 2nds. That was the cost for Houston to send out DFS so I’m guessing that’s what they’re using for market value.

I wonder what the larger context of this deal is.

There was some tweet about how the Clippers could afford to give Watson a bigger offer if they front-loaded the John Collins contract. So I wonder if this is Detroit clearing the cap to have room for a larger year one cap hit for Collins (assuming Clippers would have to throw them incentive to do so)

I see. Frankly, Vando and Hardy/Knecht aren't complete dead weight like DFS is.

Why would Kaminga want to go to Cleveland with LeBron? Makes no f***ing sense.

money is the only reason. They have paths to get him money, but not substantially more than we can, if I have it right.

I could see atl preferring to eat Schroder over our guys, but Kuminga has to pick Cleveland, too. Match the money, and we can squeeze.

The money being about the same;He might feel like Cleveland, would have a better shot at winning?

Giannis still seems to believe, that Lebron to Miami is a real thing tho.

Meanwhile...James it seems...doesn't plan on meeting with anybody. Summit your proposal and he will make his choice at his leisure.

No way. We can win. But you essentially go back to your role on the Warriors a bench role. When you can start here in L.A. I’d rather play on Mars then Cleveland.

Yeah they lost their leverage when they declined their option making him an unrestricted free agent.

Lebron in Cleveland, is a couple notches above the Lakers, as currently constructed. It's not like he's gonna play another 2 seasons or more.
