He’s always injured though, his soft tissue is made of soft tissue. So you have to factor that in to your roster, have to have 3-4 defensive guys to make up for him running on fumes by the late playoffs. I love the dude, super happy we have him, but this is the reality of the situation to me, he breaks down deep into it. Hopefully he’s taking better care of himself and this becomes less of an issue though, he certainly still looks thin and fit in the latest appearances he’s made.

Hopefully he don't regress and build on top of it and comes back in even better shape and sport some cuts.

Are you saying that this is because of the significant divisions between people with different political views? That’s definitely a problem—on many topics, it’s hard to even start a conversation with people from the “opposing” camp (I really hate that), but on CL we had plenty of discussions that were just fun and sometimes deep, and didn’t touch on those topics at all. It’s not easy, but it’s possible—at least as long as everyone maintains discipline and refrains from comments that attack “the other side.”

It seems to me that this part of the forum could work better here too if only there were a few more of us ;).

Back to topic, I can't believe I'm rooting for this, but... Kuminga, please.

Really hope we can get this done. I know he’s not an amazing player, but for us he fits a big need.

One thing I can say with certainty about this squad, with Kessler as our anchor we can build a solid defense around him with the players we have. Scheme it out and practice it religiously. Everyone needs to know where the help will be and the rotations they need to make. Then rebound. We should be able to do that. It is always nice to have a Rodman and a Pippen but we can be a good defense.

Mamu and Jake certainly are or can be at least “mediocre”.

Yeah I think they just cheap and don’t want to pay anybody. Jaylon is in his prime.

Crazy how little interest Kuminga is getting around the league. Absolute steal if the Lakers can get him.

He needs to be molded into being an OG Anunoby-type player for the Lakers. Just focus on grabbing rebounds, knocking down open shots, cutting to the basket, and playing good perimeter defense and he'll carve himself a really nice NBA career.

Rather have him than Rui. I think the Rui experiment is over and with Sandro being there, it doesn't really make sense for Rui to have a spot anymore to cut into his minutes.

Lebron and Rich Paul. Damn. He wanted to be happy. He wants extereme happiness. What was so bad about playing here??? I guess Luka being the guy really got to him. What an ego. You can’t win with that man. Everybody has to be on the same page and buy in. He did it with AD. I wonder man. I guess it was best he just not come back. Cause even if he did that cloud would be all over this team. Take Rich Paul’s courtside seats back. And like my boy said no statue. We bent over backwards for this guy. Jeanie got emotional didn’t need to say it. LeBron just really couldn’t handle the Luka and Reaves thing. Rich was his mouthpiece.

FWIW, I have seen those kinds of off topic areas of many other sites go away over the last decade as well. It seems more common than not.

Yeah, I mentioned this already a few pages back. Actually LaRavia + 2033 2nd for Kuminga (Sign-and-Trade) starting at 13.5 million might be the cleanest option for the Lakers and the Hawks. We still end up about 4 million under the 1st apron with that trade. We made a similar trade with Atlanta that involved a one for one player swap with us sending out a 2nd at the deadline when we sent out Vincent and a 2nd for Kennard. Hopefully later we could recover another 2nd in a possible Bronny trade.
