    Right. What’s the hold up?

    I feel like the league really cracked down on tampering but does that mean we gotta wait until he officially clears waivers? If so, might good time to take a social media break from Laker content because patience is not our strong suit myself included. Lol

    Oh god I hadn’t even considered this, I was thinking we sign Ayton and try to trade for a backup with a 2nd rounder, like Nick Richards. I know he isn’t much better than Hayes, but having Hayes back and be just one injury away from being the starter again is terrifying.

    Next year they have the unprotected draft pick of either the bucks or pelicans (whichever ends up havig the better pick) - that's an insane asset they picked up for the 13th pick in the draft this year

    also for those wondering if the reason Ayton to lakers hasn’t been announced yet is because of tampering - clarkson was bought out and it’s already being reported he’s going to the Knicks.

    Consider me worried that Ayton is not a done deal yet

    Are the Lakers punting another season. My goodness.

    Man they had a real good team last year prior to the Luka trade. Could run a 5 man lineup of ad, Lebron, Max, AR, Rui. Add DFS to that and that player based on what we saw the post season was really close to a title cont der.

    They trade for Luka so I get it didn't want invest in As/Lebron so you make the move and now this?

    This front office has no vision, no creativity. A top tier front office could compete on some level with Luka and LeBron right now, but this FO is saving up for free agency TWO YEARS FROM NOW. It’s lazy, it’s pathetic, Mark Walters can’t come in and overhaul this soon enough.
