Looking at marginal wings right now of guys who I've never saw play, lol.

We need a Trevor Ariza type trade the more I think about it.

    How’s Buffkin’s defense compared to Nick’s for POA at 6’5” 195lbs?

Not a great defensive rating; he's light, can get pushed around by bigger guards/wings/. On the quicker side, good laterally, gets deflections with quick hands, etc. Could be a better overall defender than Nick just due to size.

Looking at this Dean Martin from Cleveland right now. End of the bench guy. Been on Cleveland since 2019. Defensive metrics look okayish. Can switch Good three point shooter. Think he's on an expiring.

Do it if that means Giannis will stay in Milwaukee and Reaves trade talk would end

Does seem like Milwaukee is going to try to do something to convince Giannis to stay. LaVine's not a bad gamble, but it's hard to send out that 2031 pick unless you know for a certainty Giannis is signing the extension he's eligible for next October.

i wonder what philly's asking price for grimes is. he's a UFA this summer, so we can just sign him outright if we love him. they do have bird rights, but how much do they want to pay grimes with maxey, edgecombe, and mccain as the young guard core? none of them can play sf minutes.

would they consider knecht/gabe/lotto protected 1st that turns into a 2nd? rui for grimes/oubre could also work? shuffling around expirings who might fit better on their new teams?

i'm not wild about williams, but someone mentioned ariza, and if you squint a bit...

champagnie would be a good pickup, though i don't think he does what we really need.

oubre's ok, but sorta rui-ish, imo. he's been on a decline for a couple years and is a minus player right now.

rumor was we had interest in jett howard in the draft. i didn't.

terry is the one i've been talking about since summer. feel like his cost should be fairly low. problem is that knecht/terry doesn't quite work cap-wise, so it would have to be a bigger deal.

better. bufkin is probably the better prospect right now, though i think there's a chance both are guys who make teams regret cutting them loose for nothing.

i like him, but not his fit here. he's a dawg, though. wouldn't be scared of playing in la.

lol, been posting this for months. i actually like it for everyone. washington gets a guy who can make them a playoff team next year. young gets a roster pretty ready-made for him to be the leader/focal point. atl gets a vet guard who will do what's asked and expires. what's the last piece?

Good call. That's such a depressed asset by Chicago'ing/Portland'ing him and holding on to him to where the NAME being mentioned in trade rumors for him as a washed expiring. He can be a supercharged Poole for them. Hawks get some optionality moving forward and a leader in the locker room.

I am so glad we have Luka. There is a non-Luka world where Rob is talking to the Hawks right now.

Washington still plans to tank right. Trae can be one of those regular season floor raisers. After all the pain suffered only to lose draft spots for Trae Young would be a very wizardry thing to do

They need to trade Jaylin Williams. Rob pull out the magic, they've gotten significantly worse since he came back lol. Went from 15 Warriors to just another West team. Either that or the Spurs knocked the aura right out of them

Give Charlotte some credit they can put a nasty to guard lineup out there. Ball, Bridges, Knipples, and Miller. If those are guys are on all at the same time watch out that is some offensive firepower

Yeah, so many top teams are in a slump. Guys getting tired, or injured, or both.

OKC lost, Denver lost, and we are suddenly #3 in the West, right behind San Antonio. Isn't that nice?

OK, the Rockets have the same record as the Lakers, but our team will take care of that tomorrow against the Pelicans, right?

Head coach Ime Udoka said Monday that Sengun (ankle) is likely to miss around two weeks, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.

Sengun suffered a sprained right ankle in Saturday's loss to Dallas and is expected to miss an extended period.
